The AI for transforming pictures to van Gogh paintings is nowhere near close to what the reviews and the app claims. On top of that, the app kept crashing every time I opened it and would only work three out of the 20 some odd times I tried opening it. Thankfully it was only $.99 but it was a wasted $.99. This app is horrible.

Best Rendering / Interface Needs Improvement
After having tried several different van Gogh apps, I find this one has the very best way of interpreting photos in the Van Gogh style — however, it really needs to use the standard Apple photo interface, which allows us to search our photo library, rather than having to scroll through it.
Terrible
It makes even a nicely taken photo into a splotchy formless image with ugly colours. This is not a very well done app. I was expecting a lot more from something that uses ai tech.

The app crashes every time I try to input a photo. Using an iPad Pro, so this should not happen. Would give zero stars if I could.

Basic, but useful, worth a buck.
Not the most advanced AI filters, but if you want decent filters that are sort of like Van Gogh go ahead and try it. Also check out the Painnt app, Visionist, and Prisma.
