This game is not pay to win (although there is paid features). There isn’t Mandatory ads. You can win with only skill. The game rocksJake 1726354
Good game, but...
First of all, there’s WAAAAY too many bots. Secondly, the bots on your own team are programmed to intentionally interfere with your shots at enemy ships: super frustrating. They’ll go out of their way to make a stupid run just to get between you and a certain kill. The costs for premium ships are outlandish - unless you’re fabulously wealthy. The maps are ok, but after well more than a year playing this game with no updates.... the maps are feeling old, cramped, and boring.
If you’re dumb enough to spend money on this game you’ll get a handful of games where you feel euphoric because of the upgrade and then they throw MUCH harder opponents at you and your back to frustration. I LOVE old ship games like this, but this one just pisses you off and then when you spend money on it, it takes a dump on you.
All that said, it’s an addictive game with good graphics.Show lessRodericL

Another game where they want you to buy boats for $60 a ship. Can play free ones and it’s still fun. It’s just battle royale style. I wish you could set out to sea and freelanceJohnt1785

King of the sails, is an outstanding game, it has many different ships to offer that look very realistic, like Prins Willem, the Flying Dutchman and the mighty Neptune its self. Over the past 6 years I’ve tried pirate type games, this one I must say is the very best, the music is excellent (and my mum has a couple of times now how great it is), the ships look right and the battles are always enjoyable and fun because it is 5v5 so you get mixed up with random players which is very cool, next, do you hate those types of games where there is always at least one sort of currency or material that you need but try as you might you will never get it and then you figure out that you have to beg your mum and dad to buy it with real money but the same word is said over and over again-no, well I have good news for you, it is actually easy to get the stuff you want if you are willing to put in the effort of doing it without resorting to the weapon that pretty much never works (asking your mum or dad for it), lastly this game can let you upgrade the thing that is bugs you more than anything in this game ( and others to), the ability to upgrade the manoeuvrebility of you ship ( how easy it steers), the reason why this is important is if you want to turn and do a broadside on your opponent you need to turn and you will have a lot of the better ships with great range and even better firepower will be absolutely terrible at turning.Show lesscimooooooooo
