I don’t understand why anyone would use this app over the jw.org app. It is the official app put out by the faithful and discreet slave. So we know it will be accurate. We don’t have to worry that somebody changed the wording somewhere. We have see in the App Store apps that profess to be from Jehovah’s Witnesses, but then try to show people things that they think are wrong. They try to focus on mistakes that have been made instead of seeing it as the light getting brighter as we get closer to the end. I don’t just boycott all Jehovah’s Witness apps. There are some I just call shell apps that downloads all the literature from jw.org but adds some type of feature that may assist us. Like there is this one app that is about the daily text. That information is downloaded to this shell like app but the only thing this app does is remind you to do our text and it can be instructed to send us reminders through text messages daily but when you download the app, the app downloads the the daily text data from jw.org.
We really need to be very concerned dear friends about apps we are using that provide the Bible or our Bible literature in the app. Satan is like a roaring Lion and we are down to the end so he will work even harder.
Dear App builder, if this app is a shell app that gets it’s data from jw.org, then I am sorry. You may mean well. But do we really want to confuse our brothers and sisters when it comes to the source of the information we get our data from. You probably have great intentions and I am sorry if I hurt you. I just feel that we have to be confident about where we get or Bible and Bible based literature or now data from. We are so close to the end and we don’t want our brothers and sisters looking around for a nicer app to get our literature from. But in all honesty, I don’t think any app that shows the Bible and Bible based literature.
Recently, I saw an app that says has a podcast in it. I took it as someone talking about the Bible on it. I wouldn’t even look at it, I was scared it had apostate messages. We may think that we can listen and stop if we hear something apostate. But I recently had 3 friends who read a text from another person who wasn’t even disfellowshipped yet but spreading apostate messages. He texted a huge amount of information all at once. It was clearly seen to be apostate like words in the first 2 sentences. This brother may be sending them because he is dealing with a mental illness so I don’t want to label him an apostate. But 3 of my friends didn’t stop and now they have drifted away. And these had once been strong people. So please be careful.
