I’m not one to write “negative” reviews, but maybe it’ll spark some motivation to improve the app. I got an action cam to help me record my service prospect’s outings outings so that our trainer could see challenges and help us address them.
The first time I used the app, when I tried to download a video, it was taking a long time. It was a 3 min clip and was taking over 5 min to try to download. It said not to close the app, or the download wouldn’t work. Since it was taking so long, my phone also tried to shut off the screen several times. So, I tapped to keep it awake. In the middle of the screen is the “cancel download” button. You guessed it, I hit cancel download accidentally when it was at 86% downloaded.
I tried again. This time, the screen shut off from me not tapping it and the video file corrupted. Now, I couldn’t get the video at all, not even by redownloading.
It also deletes the full video anytime the card hits “full” while you’re filming. So you can’t leave it running if there’s absolutely any possibility of it filling up.
Even when none of those issues occur, I see “download failed” 10x more frequently than it working. I just want my videos to actually be usable 😭
