I have been to Jungfrau Ski Region for a week, and my biggest problems were transport and finding the pistes. E.g to go to Kleine Sheidegg one must either take the train from Grindelwald or bus 121 to Terminal, go up the mountain and down on piste 31. All options are time consuming. Taking piste 36 one ends up in Wengen. To go back up one needs the train to Kleine Sheidegg, otherwise will end up in the wrong mountain. This app addresses none of that. Nothing here tells me to take bus 121 to get to First. Nothing here helps me planning my day. Jungfrau is all about waiting for transport. Say what you will of the outstanding Swiss services, it’s expensive and flawed. Train delays are common and they don’t always warn people. The best thing you could do concerning this app is to add timetables, routes and general service information. No one cares about your exceedingly expensive tickets to get to the top of the mountain! (120 CHF from Eigergletscher!? Seriously? What are you guys drinking?) Everyone skiing in the region already paid for lift pass and their priorities have changed. Everyone who is not skiing are trying to get to the important spots. Knowing the prices of your passes doesn’t help anyone. Knowing which routes are available, whether they are late or not, whether there is a disruption, which platform you should go, these things are useful. For skiers, a better map of the pistes would be great. Knowing which are closed would be great. There is a lot that can be done to such an app, you only need to want it.
