Unreliable

I had a job booked for an external plug socket replacement and an intercom install. It was accepted and booked for three days and then the technician decided to cancel the job 30 minutes before the scheduled time. I tried to rebook the job for two days later and it was never accepted, and nobody came to do the work. Rubbish!

Poor Service

Had a deep cleening scheduled in Portugal. The cleaning was not performed properly, glasses looked greasy, not all floor skirts were cleaned, dusts still on some surfaces, oven poorly cleaned still aith some grease stains. Customer service takes days to reply, rectification visit got rescheduled. This is not a service you can count on.

Quoted €45 but was charged €155

The 1st time I used this app — and mind you, it will be the only time I use the app) — I wanted to get my couch along with some chairs cleaned. I didn’t see the “sofa cleaning” option since there are sooo many options to pick from.

So, I choose the “Personalized service” option. The quote that I got back was €45 for the work, which was estimated to be about an hour.

I accepted the offer, and then tried to pay with my Portuguese debit card. The app would not accept the card and wouldn’t provide a helpful error message. I had to select the option to pay in cash.

I booked a service on Monday for an appointment on Wednesday. When the technician arrived she told me it would be €155. She explained that I choose the wrong option in the app. I told her that wasn’t acceptable.

She then called Oscar. She and I spent 30 minutes on the phone with customer service. At which point, I couldn’t kick the technician out of my apartment. My boyfriend said he would go to the ATM to get more cash so we could get the couch cleaned and get the horrible experience over and done.

This is NOT acceptable. More than €100 difference is robbery. I felt forced to pay the difference since the technician was in my apartment. Oscar should have warned me of the price difference before the technician arrived. They had 2 whole days to notify me of the discrepancy.

DO USE THIS APP, IT IS A SCAM

This app is terrible, they have uncertified technicians. The waste your materials and do not perform the job and they are not held liable of responsible, I even reached out to them on Instagram and they blocked me. Zero accountability, if you want value for your money don’t use this app. Este aplicativo é péssimo, eles têm técnicos não certificados. O desperdício de seus materiais e não realiza o trabalho e eles não são responsabilizados, eu até entrei em contato com eles no Instagram e eles me bloquearam. Zero responsabilidade, se você quiser valor para o seu dinheiro, não use este aplicativo. Esta aplicación es terrible, tienen técnicos no certificados. El desperdicio de sus materiales y no realizan el trabajo y no son responsables, incluso me puse en contacto con ellos en Instagram y me bloquearon. Cero responsabilidad, si quieres un valor para tu dinero, no utilices esta aplicación.

Los técnicos no son certificados

La app es una ruleta rusa de que técnico te puede tocar.
Ellos pueden venir a reparar algo comprar materiales y no poder reparar nada además de hacerte gastar dinero de más.
En la app o soporte no se hace responsable de nada Si quieres mejor soporte busca en otro lado.

The worst experience ever with a home service.

I am having such a terrible experience with the Oscar app, I will never use it again ! I contacted the customer service chat and by email over 15 times now, and nobody is actually answering. I paid to have the window blinds fixed, and the person came, opened everything up, wanted to use super glue to “fix it@, left to buy a piece, charged me 6 euro more cash, (supposedly for going to buy it) and never came back to fix it. He marked as issue was fixed and never came back. He left me with the window uncovered for more than a week now. I keep writing on chat and on email and the only responded I keep getting si that someone will get back to me. It's now been more than a week and nobody contacted me even if they have all my contact information. It is absolutely unacceptable!

Worse service!!

I had an order not completed, no warning and they still charged me for it! Worst service possible and now I am left trying to get my money back! Do not use!

Hello 👋 , when requesting a service on the OSCAR app, it will only be charged after it is completed and with your proper approval. In case the problem recurs later, we also have a 15-day guarantee.
