In order to record distances inside of Workout app you need to allow permissions. I suspect you did not allow all health related permissions to save workout data. You can go to Settings > Privacy > Health > Dog Walk to check and update these permissions from your phone if you would like.App on phone vs watch
I’m disappointed I cannot start or end my walk on my phone (iPhone X). I can only do it from my watch.RUNNINGONMT
Old app was great, new one is incomprehensible

I have tried to load my dog’s name. All I see is the spinning wheel. I’ve rebooted the phone and removed and reinstalled the app. Nothing happens. I’m happy to improve the rating once I can get it to work.therealmohan
Don’t waste your time on this app 😤
I couldn’t even type in my dog’s name into the app 😑 When I tried putting the amount of time I want to be walking my dog it didn’t let me. What’s the point of the app when it dosent even let you set the goal you want to achieve everyday?!?!? 😡KiwwiKoala
Won’t end my workout
This app will not allow me to end my workout on my watch or phone and will keep going the full duration even if we didn’t finish the whole duration....xxbriiii
