Updates To Onboarding
We made the following updates to our signup process:
• Creating a Kuda profile (not an account) requires adding an email address which we’ll verify with a one-time password (OTP), then creating a password and a Kuda username.
• Opening a Tier 1 account requires adding a BVN (Bank Verification Number) which we’ll verify by sending an OTP to the number linked to it.
• Opening a Tier 2 account requires adding an NIN (National Identification Number) with details that match the BVN linked to the account.
• Opening a Tier 3 account requires uploading proof of address on the app followed by an in-person verification of the address.
