Wow i love this game because it’s all fantasy with dragons and the demons and I love the pickaxes, to describe this app in 1 word It would be cool but when it updated I lost all my progress

I think the game is great but some of the demons might have been a bit much apart from that tho the game is great :)
What is going on.
My son was playing this game frequently then all of a sudden, it just shuts off. We tried to contact Apple and they said to contact the developer's website which is a non-English website. We tried to restart and delete and reinstall and it still doesn't work. Please help!
