My favorite game for years, EXCEPT:
This is a marvelously clever and addictive game which I discovered years - maybe decades - ago and played until it could no longer be updated to my computer. Now it’s back, to my delight, BUT….
It is not available on a Mac computer, only on my iPads & phone. It’s doable on a phone (albeit a 14ProMax) but absolutely impossible on a tablet because, without a screensaver the screen/finger interface gets sticky. Furthermore the entire game screen slides to the side, interrupting and closing the game and switching the screen to a start again (where you left off) page. This isn’t a problem if the ball is UPGOING, but it’s sudden death if it’s anywhere near the paddle.
Second, periodically the game asks if you “Want More Energy” and there seems to be no way to get rid of the page that urges you to “Buy Now” for $9.99. The “NO” button is completely useless.
There’s a timer, but even after it runs out, the ad reappears.
The developers need to make this game available on desktop/laptop computers (as it was originally) and,
Please, by all means OFFER your in-app purchase, but don’t let it destroy the game!
Otherwise five stars.

Brilliant and highly entertaining game
I adore Jardinains. I play a few levels every night before I go to bed because it’s guaranteed to make me chuckle and smile. I don’t mind losing to the 'Nains because I’m laughing so much when their plantpot throws get the better of me. I’m slowly getting used to the different power ups and what they do. There are tons of them but I find Jardinains.com/help/ very useful in reminding me what to avoid and what to catch. I’m pretty sure in one level that I actually saw Phoenix - yes, the Phoenix from old school arcade games - and 'ran' to the other side of the screen to avoid it as I didn’t know what to do lol. The most entertaining breakout game I've played so far, this is a real joy to play. Highly recommended.

Love this game!!
Love this game!! It is relaxing and fun and I love how you can change the ball and paddle size!!
Loved this game from the past but no sound on iPad Pro
I used to love this game years ago on my pc and was delighted to see that an updated version was released. There’s nothing wrong with the overall game performance on both my iPad Pro and iPhone. But there’s no sound on the iPad version (fully updated). There’s no way to contact support on the developer’s website except via discord, twitter or paetreon-none of which I’ll ever use. So I guess I’ll have to play without sound and hope a future update fixes it.

Game
I had the old version on my old laptop and loved it so much. So glad I found this game for my iPad. My favorite game.
Very good
Hi I play this with my cousin and she loves it so much. I also just love how the objects coming from above are different and interesting great job
Great update on the classic game!
This new version is a modernized and creative update of the classic game. It’s just fun to play!
You need to experiment with the game settings to find a play style that suits you. The settings adjust the speed and size of the paddle and the ball and the game as a whole, so you can play anywhere from a leisurely romp through to an almost impossibly frantic dash.
You can choose the old styles of level configurations. I think there are 150 levels in each set which cycle once you complete them.
But you can also choose a new set of randomly generated levels that never end, so there’s no way to run out of new levels.

Satisfying and fun
I love the ‘nains. I love dodging the junk they throw, I love bouncing them to find out what the turn into, and I love their voices.
The game I have played on my laptop for years is available on my mobiles. This is my go to for stress relief. I paid for the unlimited lives on mobile because I am familiar with the company.
Here’s the story. I paid for the full desktop version 15 years ago when it was about $7. Fast forward 14 years, 3 computers later. I want the full version on the current lap top. I tried to pay for it, but instead of just accepting my less than 2cups of designer coffee’s worth of cash- I get a message that says “this email address has already paid. Here is your code”. 14 years. That is a loyalty builder.

Delightful casual play game!
This is exactly the type of engaging and fun game I wish there was more of on the App Store! Very well put together and easy to get started (and nearly impossible to master!).
I would love to share this with my kids on the big screen if Apple TV and Game Controller support is added in a future update! I’d pay good money too!
