Can the system change automatically to a fuel power generator. Up to now it’s outstanding even for three days of rain and 24 hours of power grid blackout.

Really slow and nowhere near accurate. The readings are sometimes hours old. Refreshing the app does nothing.
Extremely happy with NeoVolta
We purchased the battery pack from Brent at NeoVolta and am extremely happy with their service. Brent is reliable and experienced.
One suggestion
Under the ‘Statistics’ tab in the ‘Historical data’ there should be an option in ‘monthly production’ to set the date for the start of month, like my electricity bill month starts from 9th of every month. I hope you understand my point.
Lack of ability to control the battery
App works ok, but in the Australian context it does not have the ability to control the battery.
If you are connected to Amber Electric where you are paying the wholesale price for electricity it is important to use the battery when the price is high, so it is better if you can turn off the battery if it is charged, so you can maximise use for early evening, then turn it off,. An use grid through the night , so you have reserve to use in the morning.
It does not allow that functionality.
I am using a Sofar battery inverter, but at present there are not Third party company that can take control of your battery, so you can get best use of your battery.
Wish i paid the extra money for the Tesla battery.
At least the app monitors the system well enough, and displays info ok. But!!!

No notifications
One of the primary things I wanted from this app was email and/or IOS notifications of grid failure and return. I don’t think that is a lot to ask, especially since the app has the data already. It appears that in order to enable that, one must submit email address and phone number. That’s fine except they don’t accept Thai phones. Isn’t that special!
It doesn’t appear there is any support. About a dozen messages over two days have not produced a response. Four stars??? Seriously???

Poor Total Consumption Monitoring
Solarman Smart tacked on the consumption of power for my Sofar inverter and so it does not provide overall totals. Works for daily consumption only.
Inaccurate info
UPDATE: for the last TWO YEARS this app has shown sunset in the middle of the afternoon and for the last 8 months a weather forecast of “heavy rain”. Monitoring is a joke as previous days’ solar output only shows up as graphs, no daily totals.
How can this app even come up with this nonsense?! It is 1:30pm - daylight saving time - with the sun high in the sky and not a cloud in sight. Yet the app tells me it is cloudy and sunset will be in 3 hrs! Yes! It has the correct location and date! Also it tells me that I am generating energy at 4:05 in the morning!!! Pitch dark outside mind you…

Easy to set up even for 72 year old my poor wi-fi is the problem all of the time, prefer it to old 2.0 App but left it on my phone just in case and to compare accuracy with new App all working fine thanks Roger Young
