Release Notes for Airbus A220 Flight Deck v1.1: A new, improved PDF Engine is now available to be turned on in settings (PDFKit Type). This enables several new features including: - Tap and hold annotation support for text highlighting. - PDF FORMs are now supported through the new PDF Kit, can be filled out in flight and saved, emailed and uploaded. - Watermarks can be added to documents using the annotations toolbar. - Apple Pencil support added. In addition: - Application now supports the use of widgets on your Home Screen. - Binder Tabs are now supported for QRH manuals through an external .binder file. - Internal QRH tabs are supported, including TOC highlighting. - Overall application stability in IOS 16 has been improved. - Annotations are visible when the magnifier is in use. - The workflow for links and annotations has been improved for quicker response times. - An issue with TOC duplication in IOS 16 in split-screen multitasking has been resolved. - The performance of split-screen multitasking has been improved for background HTML page reloads. No other solution combines automatic TR updates, user control of content and aircraft serial number-specific information into one application. Airbus A220 Flight Deck* also includes all required FAA, EASA and TC compliant audit trails for paperless¹ operations. All documents. All accessible. All in one Place. Fast and easy, you can drag and drop electronic versions of aircraft documents, manuals and forms into online folders. Pilots simply enter a license code, then push a sync button on the iPad® and the updated documents are automatically downloaded and cataloged. In less time than it takes to send a fax, pilots can sign documents, add text and email it to the fleet manager. Automatic Revision Updates No more manually inserting revisions or Temporary Revisions (TRs) into Airbus’s flight manuals. These are automatically inserted into the correct sections and distributed across every iPad® in the operator’s fleet by Airbus Technical Publications.
