Just update

The app is very good to install and program but every time I shut it down on my phone it asked me to reset the whole program again I can’t seem to get any support anywhere in New Zealand

Centsys vx4 smart swing gates

Had for 5 years now, just installing the new app based centurion pro via Bluetooth and so far it seems a really good move forward rather then programming at the control box. I hope the app to open the gate works well, that would be a real bonus, especially with the remotes being quite expensive.

Faulty override sensor, again? Extremely disappointed

Motor doesn’t work. Says motor in manual override, faulty override sensor. I explained this to the shop I bought it from and they asked for the control panel, which I sent and they returned, presumably a new one. The same manual override and faulty sensor alerts pop up and gate won’t move an inch. Extremely disappointed

Unable to update all

I’ve been using the Centurion D5 smart for close to two years and it’s been amazing piece of tech. However, randomly I lose connection to the device especially when battery runs low. And when that happens I mostly have to reconfigure using the app. On every startup the app requires that I update firmware and insists I put in my phone number as an admin to skip future requests to open and close the device. I’ve been successful at this until about a week ago. My remotes won’t work and every attempt to connect the app to the device has proven futile. The update process passes stage five and then it seems like it’s stuck in an update loop. It could go on for over 20 times and then app freezes. I’ve been battling with this for a week. The app won’t update. It keeps freezing and I keep going through the process of opening the device so I can release a connector before updating and going around this process in an infinite loop. Due to this, I’ve only been able to get in and out of the house by opening the gate manually by opening the device key gate every other time. What could be the issue? This device has been awesome and i will rate the full five stars once I find a solution to this.
