Offline Work Order hotfix
7.5.13
January 8, 2020
7.5.13 Release Notes New Features Implemented version checking to compare Pearl Mobile and server software versions Implemented a version check so that when you log in to Pearl Mobile or return to an existing session, the software versions in use on your mobile device and on your server are compared. If the versions do not match, an error message with resolution instructions appears, and then you are redirected to the sign in page. All fields for Mobile Work Orders can now be edited In Work Order List, a new form has been added to allow you to edit all details on a work order. Previously, once you added a work order in Add Work Order, you could only edit the Status, Action Details, and Attachments fields when you selected a work order in Work Order List. The details of this Work Order List enhancement are as follows: - From Work Order List, when you select a work order, the form that opens was renamed to Update Work Order. Previously, the title of this form was Edit Work Order. - From Update Work Order, you can now select an edit icon which appears in the title bar of the Original Details section. Selecting the edit icon opens a new form called Edit Work Order. You can use this form to edit the details of the existing work order. The fields on this form function the same way those on the Add Work Order form function. - Edit Work Order does not include a section for editing attachments. To update attachments on an existing work order, continue to use the Attachments section in Update Work Order. Resolved Issues Work orders containing # in ID could not be selected or downloaded Previously, if a work order's ID contained the number symbol ( # ), you could not interact with it in Pearl Mobile. From Work Order List, attempting to select the work order to view or update it failed and returned you to the Home menu, and attempting to download the work order for offline editing failed. This is resolved. Selecting a work order group marker could also select map points of interest Previously, when you viewed work orders on a map (Work Order List > View as Map), selecting a marker for a group of work order pins could also select a point of interest icon underneath the marker. This is resolved. Now, for ease of use, the work order map only allows the selection of work order group markers and work order pins. Error occurred if service type name contained an apostrophe Previously, if a service type name contained an apostrophe, an error occurred when loading the service types list (in Add Work Order, select the Service Type field). Instead of loading, the list remained blank. This is resolved. Using LDAP authentication method to log in to Pearl Mobile resulted in an error Previously, when you logged in to Pearl Mobile using LDAP authentication, an error message appeared, and then you were automatically logged out of the application. This is resolved. Pearl Mobile users logged in using LDAP could not interact with work orders Previously, an issue with LDAP authentication for Pearl Mobile prevented users who logged in using LDAP from interacting with work orders. This is resolved. Work order series with comma separated names were not displayed in Pearl Mobile Previously, in Work Order List, work orders did not appear in the list if they belonged to a work order series with a name containing a comma. For example, this issue occurred if you created a work order series in Pearl (within Setup > Requests & Work > Work Order Series) with a comma separated name such as "Fleet,Equipment,Fire" and then synced it to Pearl Mobile (from Configuration > Administration > Mobile Sync Settings by selecting MBF_WorkOrders and adding the series in the Filter section). This is resolved.
