Doesn't work Still???

Uploaded and followed the instructions but the app wont uploaded me as a driver or recognize the lamps to pair. Common on this should be worked out by now and for the price I paid!

The app is trash

The J3 Evo lights themselves are good as far as LED Jeep lights go but if you’re expecting to use the full scope of the lights with the app, set expectations for disappointment. I got the app to connect to the lights once. Just once. I ran through all of the settings and played with the punch and spread of the lights and that was it. It never worked again. Now they’re just regular lights. The only saving grace is I won these from NR4x4. If I actually spent the money for these I would be outside JWS with a torch.

Trail 6 Pro

Installed the lights myself, connected and grouped my lights so they change at the same time. Works great!

Works while it works

The app seemed to work and get the job done. That was all good till I changed my phone. Now I had to remember that password that I setup and used like 9months ago. Well I guess I forgot it. And getting the account reset password does not seem to work at all. Now the extended functions of my very expensive headlights are not going to work. I have emailed and called support with very little interaction other than 1 email saying we opened a ticket for you. This app is in desperate need of an update. It may have been to much to combine our phones and the tech for headlights on the car.

Ill conceived and equally poor implementation

I wrote to JW Speaker and requested a reply. Nothing. Like others have written, the J3 and Trail 6 Pro lights are EXTREMELY expensive and they’re controlled with this terrible app. Terrible? You need to enter your username and password when you open the app. Then you need to select “My Vehicle.” Then you need to select “Remote Control” … even though you only have one vehicle and you do the same thing every time … Then you need to ensure all of your lights are on when you do select “Remote Control” and then you need to wait for the app to sync with the lights to enable control. Sometimes 20 seconds. Sometimes more than a minute. Then when you make changes to the brightness of your lights, or settings, you again need to wait for the sync to be applied, which is sometimes instantaneous, and other times, 20, 40, or over 60 seconds. I very much regret my purchase and will NEVER buy any JW Speaker products again. And just announced, SPOD partnered with (was acquired by) JW Speaker’s strongest (and better) competition. I’ve spent a lot of money with JW Speaker (J3’s, Trail 6 Pro’s and 279J rear lights). That’s the last of it. Never again. Goodbye JW Speaker!

Very bland, not much config

First off, this never remembers your username and password, you have to type it all out every time you want to use it, that right there alone deserve 2 stars at most. Hold up guys, I can’t wheel yet I have to type my address and password first.

Buggy

App only discovers one headlight. Startup sequence feature is missing.

Hopefully improvements are coming

I’ve had the J 2’s which are awesome lights and I’m a big JW Speaker fan which is why I got excited about the J3. These lights are really nice but I’m not sure they live up to the price tag.
The app could be so much better and for the price, it really should be. I’m really hoping for some great updates in the future. I want to be able to connect to the lights without my ignition being on. Isn’t this the point of “party” mode? This is just a dead battery in the making.
