Font so small it can’t be read
The font setting doesn’t work. At its largest setting it never changes from the minute size. The layout of the articles and sections, if really there are any, is illogical and useless.
I’m not sure what was wrong with the last version of the app that drove this downgrade. And how is the app rating still over 4? Given the ratings I read that looks false.

Poor layout
This app is a disappointment. I don’t find it user friendly at all. It takes too much time to go through. I’ll probably find something else to get my Boston News.

This is an Improvement
How does this app have a 4.4 rating? This is an improvement, the layout is terrible. The same headlines are repeated in the different sections as you scroll down. Why do we have to see the same headlines more than once? I agree with another review, there was nothing wrong with the layout of the previous app. I don’t get it? Someone or some department is supposed to feel good about the job they did with this, better go back to the drawing board!

Heralds new app is terrible! Print small and not packaged correctly! Please return to previous app soon! I will delete and find another source of Boston news

Not one good thing to say about this new version. Far too difficult to find specific types of articles. The herald has totally stepped backward with this one.
Works fine!
The recent reviews made me hesitant to get an e subscription to the Herald. I have an old iPad (iOs 9). This loads quickly, pages change easily, resolution is fine. No complaints.
Terrible and NOT User Friendly
I have tried very very hard to like this App. However, it is simply too difficult to navigate and takes a lot of time better spent elsewhere on other newspaper apps.
