  • Connected but Doesn’t work at all

    The app shows it connected to my GV31 but no matter which buttons I click the GV31 just doesn’t respond at all

    Both are on the same WiFi
    Restart Projector multiple times
    Reinstall app multiple times

    Can’t find any helpful information on Google search
    So here is one star

  • Awful

    This is beyond awful. Nearly impossible to control, impossible to select things to watch. I only downloaded this app to control Netflix and I couldn’t even get a movie up to play l. I became too frustrated and gave up

  • Please fix

    Doesn’t work well. Please fix the bugs. Mouse doesn’t work anymore but it used to work just fine.

    this app does not work on my GV series projector. Support tells you just to use the remote that came with the projector, which is probably great advice if your toddler didn’t lose it. But mine did, so until I find it I’m stuck with this useless hunk of bits as the only option to control my projector. It’s 2024, I can’t think of a single reason why you would not put a functional remote control app into the App Store for a modern AV device. this is a real letdown BenQ. If I was still within the return window for my device, I would take it back to Amazon.

  • Not working after Android 12 update

    I don’t know what happened, but this app no longer works, I can’t select anything (no double click or anything). If I open Netflix, I’m just stuck on the profile selector ZERO STARS!!!!!!

  • Absolute trash. Let me use my remote to watch Netflix

    If I could leave a zero I would. I just want to watch a Netflix show on my projector. I just want to use my remote and click the Netflix icon and press play, but no. We get to use this “smart” control.

    If you’re going to include a mouse and a touchpad, please include a keyboard, so we don’t have to fumble about.

    If the app is required to control the Netflix app, please engineer it in some way so that it doesn’t disconnect every minute, requiring me to exit Netflix and reprompt the projector to find the phone.

    Cannot connect to benq gv11
    What’s the point to use another apps to navigate Netflix?

  • Rough round the edges

    Needs more work. Take the Apple TV remote app it Roku remote app for reference.

    Ex. The keyboard input does not allow paste from phone functionality (handy to paste URLs and other long text)

    I followed the online instructions exactly and it doesn’t work. I cannot watch Netflix at all now on my projector.

  • Doesn’t work

    The app works for about 5 seconds then a screen comes up to pair the remote. Can’t get past this screen without the physical remote. Pointless app.
