One of the most important tools in my Arsenal.
By far one of the most important investments I’ve made in myself in terms of my music production career.
To keep it short, I play melodies that I hear that really sound good and catch my ear.
When I lay out a great chord that sounds beautiful, i then INSTINCTIVELY go to this app to find out which scale it’s in by inputting the keys that I put down in my program.
This app then opens up all the different types of scales I can produce in and from then I can set my program to highlight specific scales to follow according to this app and I just take it from there.
I’ve created some beautiful melodies, productions, and worked with some truly awesome people just by having this app guide me through different scales.
And I don’t know music theory I just like coordinating sounds that sound amazing. This app really helps with that.
I’d give it 100/5 stars if I could. Thank you developers for this simple piece of magic.

I want my $$ back.
Brutal
Simple enough app, but you guys really couldn’t make the keys have any sound? I have to open up GarageBand to press keys, then open up this app. I could have just opened up (google: scale key finder) on safari. Come on. If they do that then 5 stars
