  • Graphics need alot of love!

    I love this game. If you absolutely love penguins and maybe are needing something to calm you a bit everyday, this is a great game to play. The habitats are adorable, as are all the penguins. The ads are quite regular, yet certainly tolerable, and i love decorating my island with my own little additions, and being able to visit other people’s islands. My boyfriend and I are obsessed with penguins so we lay in bed and compare for hours.

    My only problem is yarn and graphics. Because of the cute outfits you can get all other materials easier and faster than yarn. The game makers want you to play for a year to be able to craft ONE outfit. This makes no sense to me. After a few weeks, most people will stop playing. Especially if you don’t have all your outfits available to outright purchase.

    The graphics could use some work. As my penguins multiply (the most ensured way to make bank the fastest) they are walking through eachother, the other animals on the island, and the additions you craft that do not directly come with the habitats that are built. This game has been out for a few years now. You think they would have corrected this problem by now, but as my population grows, it just becomes more frequent and noticeable. If the point is to make your island the most unique and filled with different penguins and animals, maybe make it look like they notice eachother at least enough to not walk through eachother.

  • Fun until…. ( developers please read )

    So I would give this game five stars very fun relaxing and cute and for me very addictive! At first you may not enjoy the game that much but once you start to learn how to play and start getting better it is a blast! ( in my opinion) So I got good at the game I bought one thing ( real cash ) after I kept playing and playing and then I was very very very close to unlocking the lighthouse but then… I got this bug that I did not know how to fix I tried many thing like closing the game and turning off my phone ( sending this on iPad ) oh wait before I started playing on phone I played iPad then I realized why don’t I get this on phone so I did and then transferred progress to from my iPad to phone. Okay back to what I was saying I got this bug I didn’t know how to fix and I tried many ways to fix it none of them worked then I had the idea to reinstall the game. So I did and then all my progress was gone I could not get it back I could not transfer my iPad progress again either so I wonder if the developers can somehow get my progress back. But other then that 10/10 game I would recommend this to you fellow reader.

  • Love!!

    This is one of my all time favorite games. It’s so fun and relaxing, and when you play long enough to get to the end it’s nice because there’s almost always an event going on within the game to keep things interesting! I love being able to customize my habitat too :) There are a couple of things I personally would change or add; just me! Nothing to do with how it’s run really, but I think it would be cool if other animals besides penguins could travel to the other habitats as well, and if like the seals could swim, or maybe if there was like a ferry that could carry them to different places? That would be really cool! And then it would be nice if the penguins could go up into the lighthouse I think, because I don’t think they can right now. Also I purchased the mushroom cafe package, I was really excited for it too!! But for some reason the recipe is not showing up in my workshop? I’m sort of hoping the issue fixes itself and the games just being a little glitchy…
