Hi Alan, Thanks for your comments. Although it was deeply disappointing to hear, we always appreciate honest feedback from our driving instructor partners, especially when it’s genuine and coming from a good place. Part of the reason why the app is so popular with learner drivers is due to the fact that pupils are easily able to see at a glance when their instructor might be available for a lesson. It’s important to keep in mind that the current generation of learner drivers have essentially been raised on apps & technology and thus this is much more palatable to them rather than having to make a phone call. Conversely, our 80+ driving instructor partners have told us that they appreciate receiving new & fully paid up pupils at a time and place that is convenient for them. This greatly reduces their admin, marketing efforts & time spent on the phone which ultimately leads to better margins, more income and more free time available. This is not about taking control away from the instructor, quite the opposite. Our platform is non-binding and non-exclusive, the instructor sets their own prices, own working hours, own availability and decides who they want to work with. It can happen that a pupil might request a slot that is inconvenient for the instructor or needs to be changed due to a clash - thankfully the lesson can easily be re-scheduled or cancelled with the pupil through the app. After checking your account, I can see that you were not contacted by any pupils as the onboarding process had not been completed. We do receive a significant number of pupil enquiries and we are able to put you in contact with driving instructors that are receiving between £1000-£4000 per month in bookings from our free service. It seems perhaps that there was a miscommunication between your expectations of the app & how it works in practice.
