  • Fairly priced

I got this under $10, and relative to the other options on iOS, this is fairly priced. It’s the cheaper alternative to Pro-R2 which is the hands down best option on iOS. And both are fairly neutral, all-purpose reverbs, though this does have a shimmer option. Sorta like EOS2 is the cheaper alternative to the Eventide reverbs for more ambient work. I also like the reverbs in THU. We don’t have many choices vs on desktop.

I’m happy I got this as it does have a different sound, quite neutral and unobtrusive. I think the initial preset is about as good as it can sound if you’re wondering. It has a very nice almost Fab UI, the one issue is the output is about 6dB lower than I’m expecting even with wet 100%. Easily worked around but makes it harder to shoot out vs other options quickly in AUM or wherever.

I like their Reelbus tape and the bit juggler and the free metering plugins as well. I have yet to try their other offerings.

  • Cutting down to two stars

    Extremely negligent communication.

Must buy, worth way more than what you’re paying.
  • Updating my review to 5 stars, to what it deserves!

I previously only gave this app 3 stars, based solely on its presets. I expected the presets to present the very best this reverb has to offer and was surprised at how mild the reverb was in the presets.

This reverb provides a lot of control to add some fantastic reverb to your source music. My rush to judgement was unfair. I’m back to make amends to the developer and those considering this reverb. In fact, don’t consider it, just buy it! You won’t be disappointed.

So, Apple and/or ToneBoosters, you can remove/delete my previous review with my apologies.

  • fantastic ios verb!

great all around verb with some more interesting deep dive settings. If you get only 4 time based filter plugins in your lifetime, get this one, shimmer from Bleass, Bleass delay and something for massive verbs like eventide blackhole or Alteza. do this and you’ll be set for nearly any basic recording and mixing situations.

  • Top 3 Reverbs on iOS!!!!!

We all have different tastes in reverbs, but the flexibility on this is rather unparalleled. I won’t list the competitors here; but I’ll say that you can pay a lot more and get A LOT less!!!!

The BIGGEST thing to realize is how light on DSP (CPU) this is. Reverbs are hungry. Anyone use H-Reverb on PC?

I use TB Reverb in a live context on a send, usually, within AUM and KeyStage. I can bypass a synth’s built in Reverbs (which can be SO heavy on CPU) and send my WHOLE RIG into one or two different reverbs. Save on CPU. Sound great.
    Oh… features!
    Multiple algorithms? Yes
    Internal EQ? Yes
    Shimmer? HOLY COW YES
    Stereo field adjustment (width)? Yes
    LFOs? Yep
    How about a gate? YES

Swiss Army knife of reverbs at the cost of less than an actual Swiss Army knife!

  • Great reverb - had to restart device

Just purchased it thinking I’d get audio unit compatibility since it’s listed, but it doesn’t show up in my iPad Pro or iPhone 12 Pro as an AUV3 in AUM or Drambo....seems to still have a bug even though version history suggested it was gone. Sounds great but need bug fixed, then it will be 5 stars.

Edit: A reboot of my device made it show up, never had that problem before with any other music apps but it works now - changed review.

  • This is the best reverb app I ever downloaded..so versatile!

This app was working perfectly before the update. I used this in AUM as an audio unit extension.

..but now it can only be used as an inter app audio. I noticed that it made it more heavy on CPU because of the extra window of the app open outside of AUM.

Also, while messing around with it, there was a random feedback hum that rang off. I bypassed all the apps I had in AUM one by one and found this app to be the culprit.

Please get it back the way it used to be.

Revised Review (just a few hours later):
Wow, I’m not sure if the developers read my review, but I just updated and it now works like it did before. I was so bummed before because I only messed around with this app for a few days, but already found out that this was my favorite reverb app.

Thanks so much for the fast fix.

  • Worked great until..

For some reason the plug-in isn’t loading in any of my GarageBand files which is preventing me from exporting the song correctly. Idk if the update had anything to do with it, but it was just working fine yesterday, and hasn’t functioned correctly since it updated.
  • Recent updates...

...have proved this is one of the best iOS devs with one of the best reverb apps. And don’t forget their other apps. All top-of-the-line!
