Critical flaw
This needs to cache the temperatures recorded in the app instead of deleting them every time the app disconnects.
Doesn’t recalibrate.
I was making a brisket and when I thawed it and sat it at room temperature with the probe in it read 110 degrees I know it’s about 35 degrees off but I can’t find a website or tech support to fix the issue. The app overs no help and the alarm is sensitive.
Generally good but could use some improvement
The app is alright on the whole but there are a couple of improvements that would make it much better.
1) everytime Bluetooth connectivity is lost you lose the history of the cook, so the graph starts from the beginning again. Would be better if it persisted even when losing connection.
2) would be good to use history to project expected cook time. E.g. calculate the temperature rise rate versus the target and estimate how far away you are from reaching the target.
