The Aquilana app for private customers enables you to consult all the information about your health insurance at any time. The app makes it easier for you to deal with your insurance documents. Do you want to check your insurance cover, send doctors’ bills or contact Aquilana? The app makes all this easier and clearer.

Conditions:
- You must be an Aquilana Versicherungen customer and have an active insurance number.
- You have an active basic and/or supplementary insurance with Aquilana Versicherungen.
- You are either legally resident in Switzerland or recognized as a frontier worker under a bilateral agreement.
- You have an active email address.
Registration:
You must register to use the Aquilana app. The following information is needed to do so:
- Insured member’s number
- email address
- mobile phone number
- password
Further security questions:
- date of birth
- post code
- monthly insurance premium (monthly premium for each individual based on the latest policy without deducting the personal premium reduction)
After successful registration, the user receives a code by SMS. The user gives an assurance that all the data notified upon registration are complete and correct.
Keeping original bills:
The user must keep the originals of all invoices that are forwarded and agrees to release them to Aquilana Versicherungen at any time on request. Aquilana specifically reserves the right to decline to refund benefits or require them to be repaid if the original supporting documents cannot be submitted on request.
Security:
The customer is aware of the fact that the Aquilana app is made available via the Internet. Despite the use of modern security technologies, absolute security cannot be guaranteed either on the Aquilana side or on that of the customer. The customer must seek accurate information about appropriate security measures and ways and means of taking the necessary security measures (e.g. the latest antivirus software, firewall). The customer must likewise make sure that all the access data are kept secret and protected against improper use by unauthorised persons. There is, however, a latent risk that a third party may gain undetected access to the customer’s terminal device while the online services are being used. The customer must bear that risk himself.
