Description of Deploy Pro

Deploy Pro is designed as an app with CERT teams in mind but can be used by any search and rescue team or other first responders. The map feature allows users to see pins (user locations) and markers (locations set by users) in the area they are responding to. There are 30 different user pins, making it easy to designate team colors and 20 shareable map markers that users can place on the map to designate important locations. The map markers are grouped into 5 categories: Hazards, Command, Victims, Damage, Search X. Markers by default are set to the user's location, but can also be manually placed by dragging the map, or typing in an address. Users can add notes to markers and also share the lat/long with other users if needed. The reference guide is sourced from the FEMA Basic CERT course, and it includes all the information that might be needed when in the field, in addition to other relevant topics like Knots and Hazmat markings. The app also includes a triage counter to track victim counts by triage color, a built-in camera for damage reports, and a notepad to store information and share with other users.

  • Invasive

Update: When starting the registration process it DID present an additional form requesting all the items listed. Optional vs required was not clear. Website eUserManual helps with capabilities before registration, but still minimally explained. Website Packages comparison helps with, but does not resolve, issue with capabilities explanation before registration.
Requires the creation of an account and excessive registration privacy invading information (username/Email and password, contact info, address, phone numbers , etc …) before even showing what the app capabilities are. Use of Constant Contact (a privacy data sharing marketing and tracking company that historically has not honored privacy data restriction preferences) is not encouraging.

    Developer Response

Hi CWC, I appreciate your concern. Rest assured, your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. We have no affiliation with Constant Contact other than to use their service to keep our users updated on the latest on the app. I'm not sure what your issues are with them, but we are not Constant Contact. And you can opt out of that communication at any time. There are 3 pieces of information that are required to create an account. Name, email and phone #. Nowhere does the app ask you for your address, so that is blatantly dishonest feedback.Like EVERY OTHER ONLINE PLATFORM, the app requires the creation of an account for security purposes and is safely used by thousands of users. Your feedback is based of your experience with a completely different company without basis to project your concerns on to us, which is too bad. If you gave the platform a chance, you'd find it is hands down the best on the market at this price point.

  • Incredible app

Creator obviously put his heart and soul into this. Our agency had horrible coordination and most of us use this app now. Communication is easier, coordination is easier, dispatch has a much easier time getting us to where we need to be with the highest efficiency in our agency’s history (over 100 years). I recommend this app. I recommend the premium upgrade. I recommend everything. 5 stars, easy.

    Developer Response

Thanks for your review! I'm glad you like the app. I really tried to make sure we put everything in place to help CERT and other volunteer responders assist during times of need.
