Be it through diplomacy or conquest, trade or subterfuge, you must secure the resources and loyalty required to rule an empire from the shores of Western Europe to the sands of Arabia. Reviews of Total War

  • Naw it needs mad fixing

I deleted this game because how buggy and very annoying the AI and computer is as it feels like this game is against you half the time and does not recognize commands it’s really bad that it actually annoys me to even play it so 1 my characters would not follow command even after telling them what to do multiple times 2 the batting ram always gets stuck then I lose or have to withdraw and can’t siege the place due to my army not being able to move the batting ram from one spot 3 or does not seem lie even your AI and cpu know what to do as many time factions would come for diplomacy but it would never pop and if we had peace they would continue to attack and siege my towns even when we just signed a peace treaty 4 my characters only get 1 move I can’t even move multiple people as I only get one and I have to waste it on one person there’s many more bugs that are very annoying and make the game less fun to play and it seems like with every update you guys are taking more things out then putting them in or fixing them
  • Creative Assembly’s Masterpiece Goes Mobile

Arguably the best Total War game has been translated beautifully onto iPad by Feral. Although there are some minor and occasional glitches, crashes, and control issues, overall the presentation and execution are superb.

With this game CA took all the things that made Rome a Grand Strategy blockbuster, and improved on them, adding welcome depth and complexity, implementing poorly defensible yet lucrative cities and towns versus tough-as-nails, elite troop generating castles and citadels that cannot economically sustain themselves; guilds; crusades; and a bevy of other improvements.

I loved this game when it was released, and the mobile port has succeeded in sucking me back into its rich world and systems. Worth every penny.
  • New Possible Factions (Existing)

    Hello!

I am writing this review as a suggestion of the addition of a few factions.

In the regular campaign, the one beginning-game faction which could be added is “The Papal States”. Their faction despite being a literal head of religion in Europe can be controlled. This faction provides players like me a (somewhat) direct control of such affairs in Europe. Crusades, Excommunications, and access to the control of Papal functions can be granted as “playable” too.

You could also add the Mongols into the game, but it is not an immediate faction that is spawned, so it is possibly- impossible.

The Aztecs are considered the same thing. The faction while it cannot create boats could be just a “calm” area of sole domination and preparation until European powers sail to the Americas on their own. But indeed it is not exactly a “playable faction” when they come to mind, but is very well worth a suggestion.

In the Americas campaign, the consideration of the addition of New France and New England could be submitted. While both are rather similar in purpose and function, it can add Two other European Colonial Powers into the mixed bag of factions.

My thanks to you all who read this suggestion :)
