Reviews of GitHub

  • Good app but lacking many features.

There is not particularly wrong with the app but at this point, other than notifications, there isn’t really much reason to use the iOS app over the website. The search on the site is significantly better. The has no apparent way to even view raw files—it doesn’t even let you copy a URL—while the site has all the neat features like git-blame, searching for symbols in and across files. It’d get a 4 or 5 with even some of these features.
  • Frustrating

Unfortunately, it takes over all GitHub links, despite not offering half of the features of the website. Those it does offer it does so in an incomplete or considered manner frequently. Clicking on a search result in a web browser, will open the app to that issue page, but with no way of seeing what repo it’s on even try to go up a screen in the app and you will wind up back at your GitHub “home” screen which offers nothing other than shortlists of pinned or favored repos and such. It’s somewhat of a frustrating experience, and for now, I’ve decided it’s better to not have it at all, than to have it preventing me from using half of GitHub on my phone.
  • Need more truth to the App! And less violations and harm

I sent this highly respected detailed information about my thoughts and suggestions when it comes to this unauthorized purchased app that was placed on 5 devices of mine which includes iCloud accounts and gmail accounts . My family and in disagree with the performance of the app and the actions everyone disrespected and disregarded when it comes to privacy, personal information and illegal shares of our devise all its info and it’s network and data. Sharing of my accounts and photos , medical information and telephone accounts are very sensitive to underage due to my children and their privacy and family HIPPA policies
I am here to greatly and kindly inform you to take action against your negligence and hold yourself accountable for the violations against the Daniels Elikins Family information and web addressed Dr Appointments through several video messaging websites between Doctors and Patients which include myself
    Thanks
