App worked last summer - broken this summer
I got a new speaker for the pool last year and the app worked to change the equalizer functions.
Pull the speaker out of storage for the season and not only does it say my speaker (which worked last year) isn’t supported, it looks like the company just stopped updating it all together. Now the speaker bass is stuck on super low because the kids messed with it last summer.Show lessShanLeh
Unable to EQ
Not able to access the eq bass and treble controls. Not a big deal you say? I’m using as a shower radio, I’m up before the wife, In order to hear the music over the shower I have to turn it up a bit, bass is thumping like a teenager driving around with a sub. Controls are in the app but keeps telling me to select a speaker then defaults to the Alexa app.Show lessFix the App useless
Doesn’t work
Doesn’t recogognise my angle3 ultra. Embedded links in the app, meant to help, link to error 404. Doesn’t appear to be a way update firmware via iOS ( iPad or iPhone ). Doesn’t appear to be a way to update firmware via macOS. The speakers are good, especially for children, but are forced into obsolescence in some ways because the app won’t work. Firmware updates shouldn’t require windows only.Show lessManAmplified
App works great (read if you are having trouble connecting)
The app works great, and has a simple enough UI for most people to understand with no experience.
If your speaker isn’t showing up in the app, try going to your Bluetooth settings and connecting from there first,after that initial connection, it should pop up in the app. Any time you turn it on, and you can activate your surroundsound connection or dual connection by pressing the Bluetooth button on both your speakers.Show lessJoker47242
Great App? Why all the complaining?
Game changer! These speakers are great and the dual parring is great as well, but to connect more than 2 the app makes it a breeze! Recommend 100%SunsetIllusion
Unreliable
Every time I first use the app after not using it for a day or two I have to delete the app and reinstall it to work. Very annoyingfurious owner

I was definitely skeptical after reading some of the bad reviews. But I read and followed all the instructions and was able to easily connect and pair two speakers and can say these things are pretty amazing!! You can’t beat this quality for the price!!!Southerninspector
Poor App Performance
Trying every possible way to connect to my new OontZ speakers with this app and it is so hit or miss it’s ridiculous.
I have 4 of the OontZ Angle 3 Pro speakers now and the app just sits there and searches for the speakers that are literally 3 feet from my phone.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and not even the Home Screen will appear.

Won’t recognize
Have an Oontz Angle 3 ULTRA. App won’t recognize the speaker. Tried many different things , even turned off my VPN. Selected “Support” on the drop down menu…and you can’t get support UNLESS it recognizes the speaker. Ummmm?
