Can't export as gltf points cloud

It's a good tool but just buggy

Hello, thank for your review. Please send me an email at support@record3d.app and let me know how big is the 3D oroginal video. The glTF point clouds export option might take a lot of disk space, so make sure you have enough free space. Please record a 1 second video and test if that one could be exported into glTF point clouds. Kind regards, Marek

It’s almost perfect

- Please add landscape video support, at least make a toggle so people can export side by side on the landscape axis instead of portrait

Hello, landscape mode recording has just been added in version 1.10.1. Please update Record3D and you should be able to record new videos in either portrait or landscape orientation (regardless of orientation lock settings). App now needs a Vision Pro viewer

Always struggled finding a good workflow to do something useful with output of app. It would be great if I could view what I record on Vision Pro or Meta Quest headsets with dedicated viewer.

AI to fill in gaps would be awesome

Any interest in Apple Vision Pro?

Bought full version, still locked out

As the title say, purchased the full app and I cant access all the features

Really Awesome app but restore purchase is broken

I have three vids I recorded in August 2022 that playback in full color. It was great to mess around with animated point clouds this way. I recently reinstalled the app (May 2023) to use it again and I used to be able to record LiDAR but now the app won’t allow it.

The responsiveness and generosity of the app maker have been stellar. $5 is cheaper than a coffee at Starbucks. Although I had already purchased I think this app is worth buying for diy volumetric capture, especially if the developer keeps improving the app and hopefully introduces machine learning to fill in the gaps.

export in png format

Hi,nice work。Is it possible to make the image sequence exported in r3d format png
Instead of jpg?
Can you add this feature in the future release?

Thank you for your review :). Unfortunately, the export format is fixed and saving into PNG would not improve the quality anyway, so it would not bring any benefit. Kind regards, Marek

Cool for night

This app is great for night vision, like not being able to see in pitch dark and using this app gives you an idea of the objects around you.

Awesome app and great idea but…

There’s a bug that doesn’t let you scan more once you deleted all videos or you uninstall and reinstall the app.
