The prices..
The art, the characters, it’s all amazing but it does get boring from time to time. Wish the dailies for this game was actually fun to do, sometimes it just feels so tasking. I know this game is free too and all, but the prices..maaan the prices.. nearly 100$ for one skin, I’d rather buy me and someone else’s dinner with that money. You guys should also consider changing the background instead of us staying on the ship, while on the note of changing things, the UI could use some work, as well as the animations(*cough* the walk cycle)..

Development is going nowhere
I have been playing this game for years, hoping that it would just need some time to be developed better, but it’s lazy.
Let me explain:
New updates will include either a new Gyee, a new skin, or some other lacklustre customization like a border for your portrait. That’s it. They don’t create new enemies, new areas, or events that feel impactful. It’s just so frustrating to have a game with such good characters and world be reduced to what they created here. And talking about skins, the avatars (main character we play) don’t get any new skins?? Where’s the customization to the character that has to be in your party no matter what?
Here’s some things that could fix this game. Let us assume the identity of a Gyee. Instead of a butler following us, let us move around as the butler without the avatar, let us assume the characters we love.
Create more open world content, some way to explore, and find encounters while seeing other players moving around. Make the game SOCIAL! Encourage community.
Implement a multiplayer system that lets us have a party of 2/2 with another player. They choose 2 gyees and we choose 2 gyees so create combos that encourage players who don’t have a certain gyees to team up with someone who does for certain challenges.
This game has so much potential. And I want to love it so bad. But I’m just so bored. It’s deadly boring.
In terms of monetization. It’s a mobile gacha game like what else you expect. Let me just say that I would be willing to spend so much money on this game if it was made right.
Devs I know the NA version isn’t the main one, but I really encourage you to push these ideas you have in your reviews to improve the game. You have something here that could be amazing, but you’re just not doing anything new anymore.Show lessShalaren

I'm heartbroken because I love the characters and the fact that this game is the only one of its kind, but it's too laborious to continue playing. It takes an absurdly long time to level up my Gyees and unlock things around the ship. The more I play, the more I get annoyed by the clunky UI, poor animations, overused voice lines, and the overall lack of polish.
Besides the great art, there isn't much left to look forward to. Considering it's been about four years since this English version came out and none of these obvious flaws have been fixed, I don't expect any fundamental changes to come for a very long time.Show lessNeon Studios2

For one of the only LGBT+ games out there, this one is very P2W, but nonetheless highly addictive as far as gaming apps go, and very chill at that! Unfortunately, it seems as though this game has had some visual glitches in recent memory, and thus the user base seems to be very concerned about the financial and operational sustainability of this game in the long term. Disappointed
This game is has a very good premise and it feels nice as gay man playing a gacha rpg like this. However, I think developers should try Genshin Impact and take some inspiration from there. I’m a free to play Genshin player and the amount of time I spend in the game is crazy and I have opted to give them money once in a while when i can afford to. Gyee should implement a better reward system since the game is pretty fun already.Show lessAlebth
I really like this game.
This game is a tad buggy and a tad slow, but I don’t really mind, it has a fun queer take on that rpg style. I love the customization, I wish there where more outfits and more customization options for skins in gameplay and for your butler. But this is a fun little game if you like grinding for stuff and watching numbers go up like I do.
The devs are very responsive and will totally help if there are any issues with losing things. And you can tell they actually want a cool game with little stories to keep you wanting more. The sometimes broken English is so endearing to me!!! It feels like a labor of love and wanting a wider audience, not a cheep ad filled cash grab like most games in 2022

Love this game, beautiful characters and the drawings are just amazing, also there’s a lot to do in the game so it never gets boring…only problem it continuously crashes especially on never isle, hope the problem will be fixed

I like this game, GYEE, a lot. It’s fun, challenging, and satisfying. However, it is far from Free-to-Play (F2P)-friendly. In fact, if you really want to enjoy the game, you’ll have no trouble spending money here.
You can try a combination of spending here and saving there. But even when you think you’ve picked something you want to purchase with the money-bought currency (White Dragonshards), the Gacha nature of the game can leave you with something you have already purchased.
Unlike some Gacha games, there is no way to trade the repeated/unneeded item, You just spent real money on. Yes, I’m sure it’s written somewhere in the User Agreement that can happen, but it happens way too often.
Yes, sometimes the purchase is presented as random, but ‘the game’ tracks players’ inventory for some game features, I’m sure it can track all inventory items.
GYEE is a very expensive game if you want to really enjoy it. It doesn’t have to be like that, but it has a captive audience. I’ve noticed in-game Friends stop playing, when they seemed to be into the game. Maybe it’s not the expense, but maybe it is. No one asks.Show lessBohVik
