  • Still pretty buggy

    Pros:
    -Good selection of questions
    - Explanations in review mode
    -Selectable number of test questions
    - Links to other resources

    Cons:
    - Full sectional charts have to be printed out
    - METARS and TAFs cannot be enlarged on screen. Had to use magnifying glass
    - When saving and coming back to test, results are inaccurate. It said I failed with a 58% when I actually passed with a 93%
    - Should have instructions on what the bookmarks on the questions are for snd how to use them.

  • Super Great Reviewer

Why paying hundreds of dollars when you can get are the same as the questions you get here. I able to test my ability to remember and answer the question properly, it also comes with category option when you can just focus first on that area, master it and then move to the next category... I like to give 10 stars... think of it. What can you study is differ from the $200-300 or $500 online training? It’s the same question and answer, I’ll recommend this app.

  • Great job!!

I used this app to prepare for part 107 and it did what it was supposed to. I passed on the first attempt within a week of getting the app. The actual test was a little more difficult than the practice test, but the practice tests did help me understand the principles. Highly recommend!!!
  • Where are the Charts

The app is overall really good to study and get ready for the test but in the Airspace questions you can not enlarge the charts and can not see what the Airspace is or the altitude details so you have to guess . Taking the test you will get those infos and the legend which helps here are some improve to make so you can actually answer the questions and not guess because you don’t have the info to answer.

    Developer Response

Right on. While developing this app I was aware that not being able to zoom charts in the practice test might be a problem and hopefully we’ll get that addressed in a future update. In the meantime some solutions: 1) With two iOS devices you could have the Concise Testing Supplement, which is zoomable, open on one device and the practice test on another. 2) Order online a copy of the actual printed testing supplement. They’re exactly the same as what you’ll receive during the live test. Even with reading glasses I struggled to see those tiny printed charts during the exam. Tip: Bring a magnifying glass if proctor will let you!
  • Outstanding - Exactly the app I was looking for!

From my perspective, this is the perfect app for someone to prepare for the Part 107 exam on their own. My only stumbling was regarding the Supplement PDF. There were questions that told you to reference it, but I simply did not know what or where it was. Many thanks to the developer! And yes, this app is certainly good enough to be a paid app (it is free at the time of my testing and writing this review).
