Yamaha FGDP-50 finger drum works in Cubasis!!!
I learned the hard way that the FGDP has to be connected with camera adapter AND power supply 1.5amp plugged into camera adapter for it to send midi and audio to Cubasis 3.

This isn't a 'Light Edition' in the slightest. Unfortunate, cause that would have been fantastic - a multitrack host with a decent piano roll, with reasonable limitations and less features, allowing one to try things out in a realistic way and upgrade once it becomes a real part of one's workflow for more complex tracks.
This 'Light Edition' not only completely resets after a ridiculously short time of 30 minutes, but also still lacks several crucial features such as AU hosting (why couldn't those simply be active, when the app is already so restricted as to be useless?). It's nothing but a storefront demo for the $25 full version, and not even sufficient for that purpose.
I'll be happy to try this out again if it ever becomes a real light version and lets me stretch the workflow and the AU integration even a little bit, without being rushed and unable to do anything meaningful. I'm not committing $25 to something I don't have any real sense for.Show lessJon Vuri

Cubasis LE comes bundled with a wide range of bundled devices (see list here: www.steinberg.net/cubasisle), which can be used to unlock the app from demo mode. Apart from this the version enables you to test drive the smaller LE feature set in a 30 minute demo mode, which can be restarted as often as you like. We do our best describing what Cubasis has to offer on the Cubasis website (steinberg.net/cubasis) and various tutorials, available on You Tube. Great app although wished it had more customizable effect with out having to purchase them. Should get a bit more for the money. Although it’s a pretty good rocksolid app no real issues does the job well on my iPadSgp5882

Question guys i have a titan 50 Ekit and wanted to use cubasis to record midi forbmy band. Will this app work with that kit using bluetooth and or iphone to midi cable? Thanks in advance guysThe password is 1,2,3,4,5

However, Cubasis fully supports Bluetooth LE MIDI to connect and use hardware, which supports this standard. You may give this a try yourself, while Cubasis LE runs in demo mode: (1) Simply delete the preloaded demo tracks, to record your own tracks. (2) Please follow the steps shown in this clip, to connect your Bluetooth LE MIDI device with Cubasis LE: https://youtu.be/9tqJzBvT1lY. The demo mode can be restarted as often as you like. I’m a big Steinberg fan , heavy Cubase user so wanted to expand but feel this app isn’t optimized for iPad. Some great features like freezing , automation, chord pads, and IAP make it an solid tool.
But when I use IAP it often freezes or takes forever to load. Which isn’t an iPad experience, you want something quick and light I don’t expect a full fledged daw but a stable one at least.
Also surprised there isn’t scale assistant as thats a huge Cubase feature. So having to use other apps to do that function also adds to the load. As a premium offering in the iPad ecosystem I expected better performance it’s one of the slowest music apps I’ve used. I do enjoy it at times but it proven to be unreliable and frustrating to.

Currently I’m on iPhone. I plan to upgrade to ipad soon so
Question 1: If I purchase this now I’m my iPhone will I be able to transfer it to my ipad when I upgrade?
Question 2: currently on GB.. some of my plugins have bad latency because (if I gather right) because the sample rate is low. Is this software likely going to overcome that?
Question 3: “Supported Hardware” I don’t see my keyboard on this list. It is a Casio S360 dig piano but with full weighted, and usb with an interface (focus rite). Do I need a dedicated midi controller for this or is the Casio just not on the example list?

Re Q2: You may check out the included MicroSonic instrument in the Cubasis LE 3 demo version to find out more about the actual latency. Re 3: Cubasis fully supports class-compliant devices. I suggest to get in touch with the manufactures of your hardware devices in use, to find out more about compatibiltiy. I feel cheated I paid 50 dollars for the app plus extras for more accessories then I spent 50 more for Cubasis lE 3 because supposedly it is a more complete app but oh surprise I have to pay again for tools that I had already bought in Cubasis which really bothers me really really disappointedJorgeborja@

It doesn’t make it obvious that you need supported hardware in order to use this app. I believe that I just paid 30 dollars for something that is now useless, I am giving you five stars still because I am hoping I’m wrong and I know you make solid productsGherben
