Makes you jump through hoops to set up an account and then when I was at the airport leaving the EU, the app still hadn’t processed the receipt or sent me the form, so I wasn’t able to claim my tax. I just lot hundreds of dollars because of this dumb stupid app that is the complete opposite of user friendly. The Paris Olympics using this app as the only option is a complete scam from their government.Show lessscaryterry20
Password reset doesn’t work
App seems me a link to reset password. But when I open the link, it launches in the app and freezes. I can’t enter anything to submit a new password.brshawaii
Scam
Total scam. Olympic stores said to use this app for VAT. Followed every direction and got a bar code to confirm at the airport - and barcode was DENIED! Nothing can be done at the airport. Total scam to give the impression of having all set and ready and it isn’t valid and no VAT refunded.millerJF

Lost money because of this app
When purchasing at The Rugby World Championships in Paris, the merchant insisted that I use this app to get reimbursed for my duties. They said that all I need to do was download the app and I would automatically be reimbursed through Mastercard. They did not explain that you need to be preregistered on the app before going to the airport and that you need to upload receipts and then take them to customs at the airport. I purchased other items from reputable vendors the old fashioned way and they gave me a paper VAT form which I took to customs at the airport and I had a refund to my credit card in seconds. But since I was already past customs when I tried to use this app, it would not work and I simply lost my $100 VAT that should have been refunded to me. It was absolutely criminal that they forced me to use the app without explaining how it is supposed to work. Had I known, it would have been OK - maybe - but why go through the hassle of registering with this app and uploading your personal data and then also having to go to customs when you can just quickly and easily go though customs without it? I am deleting this from my phone. Waste of time.Show lessLost my VAT
