Very well designed App

It is very assuring and practical to use this app. Sure the sharks are wondering that where are the people when we need them :-))

Not sure why I don’t get the warning notices? Mist be my settings

Thank you for your feedback. Please check your 'Settings' for 'Notifications' and 'Favourites' to ensure that you are getting push notifications. If after checking your settings you are still experiencing issues, please email sharksmart@dpird.wa.gov.au.

Updates by date

A good starter app, but some tweaks need to be made… It would be helpful if the sightings could be sorted by date, as the default which cannot be changed, is not helpful.

Thanks for your feedback. The 'Updates' page is divided into three sections. 'Nearby' which provides reports within 5km of your current location, 'Your Favourites' and 'Other Locations'. The most recent information is provided first in date/time order, however if there is an active 'warning' in an area, this will be pinned to the top of the information. Some warnings such as the presence of a whale carcass may remain in place for an extended period of time. If you have any additional concerns or feedback please email sharksmart@dpird.wa.gov.au

Missing one feature.

Would be great if Alerts could be shared via a text message or website link from the App to others in a future update. Also info on WA government approved shark deterrent devices and how to receive rebate. Otherwise great app

Good app, but not user-friendly for sharks.

I've noticed NOT many Sharks have been logging themselves in? Perhaps developers have overlooked the fact that sharks don't have any hands?
i suggest we help them by painting QR codes onto their bellies, as they swim over a scanner on the ocean floor surrounding the swim beaches, then they are automatically logged in. Sharks will appreciate it.
= Covid Safe and more humans will get to keep their limbs.

Smart Sharks!

Have we learned nothing from history? Artificially increasing Sharks intelligence will doom us all. Do not let the warnings from the documentary Deep Blue go unheeded.
