For a world class sport and run by a world leading organisation, the app is embarrassing. Never up to date and always directs you to the website which in turn isn’t the best.
Come on WST. Make this app as great as the sport.

Out of date
This app would be ok if it was up to date. But I just downloaded it to see the Masters final score, and the ‘latest news’ was the Masters draw, according to the OFFICIAL app, the competition hasn’t even started!
Recent updates have destroyed this app
Not sure what WST were thinking of at the recent updates but the results service has got even worse, the news page almost never loads and the navigation aspect which was always “difficult” is now IMPOSSIBLE! Not the sort of app we expect from a series apparently awash with sponsors money.
Poor compared to last year
I used this app last season and it was fairly good. The tournament centre had all you needed as well as rankings etc. This season it takes you to an incompetent website that is not responsive to phones. No idea why they changed an app that served a purpose for one significantly worse and not particularly useable. Please sort this out asap as this current version is a waste of cyber space.

Should be first, sadly the worst
Ideally the official WST app would be the go to for all things snooker, but sadly it’s poor. The latest news isn’t updated in a timely manner, the navigation is simply awful. Clicking on an individual tournament opens the full tour calendar (no idea why???) and you can’t select previous tournaments to view stats as for some reason when the tournament has finished they’re wiped from the app.

What’s gone wrong?
This used to be a very useful app for snooker fans. Why does it take me out of the app to a web page to then have to fight through a confusing array of matches and articles? Just leave me in the app and let me navigate around the events.
A poor advertisement for Snooker
This app is awful. It’s got promise but it’s like no one cares. It’s slow to be updated (news and scores),it’s glitchy, and what’s been done in the new tournament centre? Half the time it tells me there are no games on when I know there is! Snooker needs to gain fans and grow at grass level.. an app like this should help promote the sport and make it exciting (which it is) but if I were a young person wanting to dip my toe in and see what snookers all about this would put me right off.

Just awful
Despite all the promises to improve, it’s a terrible app with out of date and inaccurate information. Scores and frames often allocated to the wrong player, miles behind the time.
Poor advert for WST
I use the app regularly on my iPhone 13 mini. There is some good reading on here in terms of news and reviews, plus it’s a handy place to go for tickets to matches. But it’s infuriating as a snooker fan to navigate matches, scores, sessions - often information is incomplete, with sessions missing from the flagship world championship at the Crucible this year (2023), scores often aren’t updated in a timely way, upcoming matches often aren’t always listed. I don’t know of anywhere else to go to for all this information in one place, so it’s disappointing this app doesn’t work as well as I would have hoped

Never up to date!
This app, from the organisers of the sport, is next to useless when it comes to live scores. Most of the time the current, ongoing matches are not even listed and reported at all!
