Description of Spacemap Go

Spacemap Go is a spatial sound design and mixing tool that leverages the processing power of the Meyer Sound GALAXY Network Platform in an intuitive iPad interface. ACCESSIBLE & INTUITIVE With Spacemap Go, anyone can design both simple and sophisticated multichannel installations without specialized training. With thousands of GALAXY processors worldwide, Spacemap Go has the widest reach of any spatial sound design and mixing tool. No other sound design tool offers so much power and control, right at your fingertips. LIVE & AUTOMATED WORKFLOWS Spacemap Go works seamlessly in live workflows, providing the power to make edits and plot panning in real time with just a swipe of a finger. The app supports General Purpose OSC mapping and RTTrPM protocols, for integration with leading DAWs including Ableton Live, AVID Pro Tools, MOTU Digital Performer, Reaper, and Apple Logic Pro and real-time tracking systems from QLab, BlackTrax, and others. SCALABLE & CONFIGURABLE If you can dream it, you can build it: Unlike other spatial sound platforms, Spacemap Go can be used with any loudspeaker configuration, not just those defined by a manufacturer or the system designer. Once deployed, a system is infinitely reconfigurable. TRUSTED & FUN For decades, Spacemap technology has powered the world’s most complex sound productions, from Cirque du Soleil to Broadway. Now, those same creative capabilities are available to every audio pro, whether you design soundscapes for theatre, concerts, sound art installations, or houses of worship. Spacemap Go provides unprecedented ease and creativity in spatial audio design, liberating sound designers to focus on the art of their craft without the burden of complicated interfaces and confusing algorithms.

Reviews of Spacemap Go

  • Wow! Great UI

The App has a very streamlined and good looking UI. Conceptually Space Map handles Spacial Mixing like no one else!
  • Huge addition to Galaxy architecure

Spacemap Go is great! It brings all the spatial placement and mixing capabilities of CueStation and D’mitri to the Galaxy in a straightforward and well thought out interface that is easy to use and fun. The possibilities and uses are endless, and that fact that it’s integrated into the galaxy architecture for system control makes this a really great tool for mixing anything from live performances and theater to immersive spaces and installations.
  • Rock Star app

It slices, dices, AND moves sound around. If only it came with a Galaxy or two for free! Seriously, this gives Galaxy’s a whole new set of functions that will be super useful when we get back to doing shows, can’t wait!
