  • Almost…

They’re asking a pretty hefty price for an app that essentially does one thing, so it had better do it well. And if this app made just a few adjustments, I think it would probably be worth it. The biggest issue is lack of a customizable clip length - it only offers certain preset lengths and that’s it. I thought maybe that the full version would offer at least more options, but no. So, I suggest providing more clip length settings (add a few app defaults, such as “Snapchat (3m)” to the list to make it easy for people cutting up a video for the purposes of sending it through an app. There should also definitely be a way to enter my own clip length and have it crop to that length (e.g. 90s, 2m, 00:03:15, etc). And a list to save our own customized clip lengths so that we don’t have to keep entering them (just “length” and “name” would suffice) would be a great help. The one bug I saw, at least with the free version, was that it saved the clips out of order. It should absolutely not do this, and it would even be better if it could tag the videos in the caption field with something like “1 of 13, 90s” so that if they got out of order we could put them back in order. I believe these two additions and fixes would make the app worth the asking price.
  • Works but price is ridiculous

The app works as advertised but they want to lock you into either weekly or monthly payments which come out to $54/year or $34/yr. I understand they need to make money but I’m sick and tired of subscriptions. I’d happily pay $10-15 for this app but it’s a no go for me with the current structure.
