Updated WORDCLOUD feature to incorporate most recent news summaries. WORDCLOUDS beautifully display the most frequently used words in headlines - dynamically populated and scaled by size. Now users can see the year in review WORDCLOUDs for 2020, 2021, and 2022 for a sampling of news feeds from the drop down list. Access WORDCLOUD in the same way as before - by clicking on the "..." button in the main screen and selecting WORDCLOUD.

New features for visualization and annotation of your precious memory: 1. Enhanced experience in APPLE HEALTH Data display: - new color gradient shows the rhythm of your health rhythm. - automatically adjusted to show per day, per week, per month changes. - a coordinated feel as you transition between time arc "zoom" levels. 2. NOTES - a user requested new feature: - add a new NOTES section in the Menu. - create new notes by clicking the "+" button on the main screen. - write your notes using the keyboard or use the "Mic" icon to record a transcribed version of your precious memories. 3. LABELS button to filter items you've labeled: - click the new label button (with the label icon) on the main screen to filter or selectively view items with a specific label. - the "List View" accessed via the "arrow button" while in filter-label mode is specialized for the filter-label mode. - filtered labels are grouped per month in the "List View" while in the filter-label mode. - clicking the label button toggles between the filter-label mode and normal viewing. 4. Start-up refinement to display "plasma" view then "arcs" for better visual enjoyment. 5. Performance upgrade to speed up data loading time. 6. Bug fixes in the background themes (Light mode, Titan, Callisto)

Updates to Widgets and Apple Health Workouts Display: 1. KRON Widget now displays data for 7 days per KRON relaunch. - previously, this was set to 1 day. - in this new updated version, the calendar date advances for 7 days without relaunching KRON. 2. Apple Health Workouts are now displayed on KRON - Detail Pop-up window per each Workout shows a chart of the recent 30 Workouts.

Refinements and Updates to Apple Health Data display and Annotation features: A. Apple Health Data Display Expanded: 1. Daily Trend at a Glance: -Main “Arc” Display: Color intensity heat map of each hourly Health Data “Arc” based on the daily maximum value. -When zoomed in where the “Beam” is spanning less than 60 minutes, the Summary Section lists the hourly value for each Health Data (see “Notes” before for additional details.) -When zoomed out where multiple days are in the “Beam” of the Main “Arc” Screen, the Summary Section under the “Arc” displays the average per day across the multiple days. 2. Daily Summary Plot in the Detail Pop-up: Daily Detail Pop-up window shows a quick summary followed by a bar chart plot of hourly health data. Horizontal scrolling is activated for the Detail Pop-up for ease of navigating between days. 3. Daily sum or avg. for each Health Data are listed in the List View Screen, for quick continuous vertical scroll across days. (Friendly Reminder: the ListView Screen is accessed via the Main “Arc” Screen by clicking the “->” button or by tapping the header area of the Summary Section.) Notes: -For Active Energy, Exercise Time, Steps, Standing Time, Workouts data - sum or average values (counts or minutes) are displayed hourly on the Arc and displayed daily in the Detail Pop-up. -For Heart Rate data - the beats per minute (BPM) is the unit of display; the average BPM per hour or average BPM per day are calculated based on where the beam is pointed. -For Sleep Analysis - in this initial display implementation, “Asleep” data from Apple Health are displayed where one “Sleep Event” is the grouped data display, and a “Sleep Event” is defined as sleep segments that are separated by no more than 6 hours. B. New KRON Annotation Features: 1. The new Label feature (first introduced in version 3.1.1.) is now available for each health data daily Detail Pop-up. The Pop-ups are accessed via clicking the Health Data in the “Summary” Section under the Arc or by tapping the “Arc” and selecting “View” on the Main Arc View screen. 2. A Label icon is present on the top left of each Pop-up, clicking this brings up the Label Window. 3. Previously created labels can be marked or unmarked for any individual Detail Pop-up by tapping and uncapping, when marked, a check mark icon will appear next to that label in the Label Window. 4. New Label(s) can be created by clicking the “+” icon available in the Label Window. 5. All labels created are automatically added to the “Labels” section, accessed from the menu. 6. Labels are stored on the user’s iCloud.

Yet another massive new package of features in this new version release across various categories: Annotation Features: -Label (initial release) with new label icon added to the top of each detail pop-up to add labels to an item; there is also a new Manage Labels section in the menu to see all labels created. Labels are stored on the user’s iCloud. -Star icon replacing "Tag" to turn the glow on/off on the Arc screen New Device and New Widget: -Widgets - 2 options available, a small and a large, to display day of the month and 1 event per calendar per day; clicking a widget launches KRON. -Apple Watch offering - this is an initial release, displaying calendar information similar to the new Widget. Flexibility and Design Refinements: -Unlimited scrolling of [1] detail pop-up and [2] summary section under the Arc; previously scrollable range was limited to items in the "Beam". These new features offer additional flexibility to quickly navigate across time while viewing on the Arc screen or in the item details pop-up. -New menu display option to show only selected data stream(s) in a minimal mode vs. the "All" (fully expanded) mode -Designer background & themes selection (Titan, Callisto) - accessed via top of menu. -Apple Health data aggregated based on "Beam" time span. -Apple Health Sleep data showing hours and minutes. -Map link short-cut button in ListView screen when link present in Calendar event. Bug fixes and performance optimization: - iPad text display refinements. - onboarding screen refinement. - autoplay "Live Photos" (short videos) in Detail Pop-up. - PDF files open consistently without having to reload Files selection.

UI Design: - iPad version (new landscape mode) - iPhone version (minor adjustment) Data Types: - Apple Music (Experimental*) - Files (PDFs, voice recordings, etc.) - Pubmed CSV files (Experimental*) - Health (Experimental*) * see additional notes below on Experimental features Interactive Touch Screen Short-cuts on the main "Orbital" screen - User Requests fulfilled: - Long press to show data source name - Drag and drop to reorder - Tap to select options: Tag, Open, Center, and Customize color Display Customization via the "..." button (Mission Control Panel) exclusive for the KRON App only, i.e., not available in the other smaller satellite apps in our suite of apps: - Arc Thickness customization - Transition Point from "Arc" to "Plasma": - this control offers the customization of when the Arc is transitioned to the KRON signature "Plasma" display - while this customization has been available in the Mission Control Panel ("..." button) since Dec 2020, it has been updated in this new Version 3.0.1 release - the "Late" setting was previously set to a maximum of 1 year, and this has now been extended to multiple years - offering the "Arc" display to persist when viewing multiple years of events / items in the discrete ("Arc") mode is desirable - this multiple years expansion for the "Arc" is especially useful for viewing PubMed CSV file contents (see below for additional notes). Performance Optimization: - Apple Music and Spotify music history are now saved onto your iCloud, to be available on your multiple Apple devices (iPad, iPhone). To ensure this features works properly, please allow KRON to *Notes on Experimental New Data Sources: Apple Music- it is observed in a small instances of App QA testing that Apple Music starts playing involuntarily (i.e., without the user clicking the play button), when this happens, the music can be stopped by pulling down the Music Player short-cut from dragging from the top of the screen and pausing the music if the user desires. Apple Music history recording and playback is robust, same as Spotify music features that has long been offered in KRON. Apple Health - at this first roll out of Apple Health data access and tracking across time along the "Arc"; we look forward to user feedbacks on this new feature introduction to develop more advanced features via engaging with our user base. PubMed - directly displaying content within CSV files downloaded from the PubMed website (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov). The user flow to download PubMed CSV files from the user's iPhone or iPad to be displayed on KRON is: From https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov -> type in search term(s)[for example type in Whale Shark, as of 11Aug2021, this returns 360 results] -> select "Save" (in iPhone click the "..." button near the top, on the right, just above the list of results, and "Save" is one of the options) -> set Format as "CSV" from the options to save the citations to file -> click "Create file" and save it onto your local iPhone or iPad folder or onto your iCloud storage - Select one or more .CSV file(s) within KRON menu "PubMed" new data source, typically newly saved files are stored in the "Downloads" folder, select this to add to the KRON "PubMed" list - The CSV file content are instantly displayed across the KRON x ARC, each item is displayed with a duration of 1 month (i.e., length of the "Arc").   - Together with the new "Mission Control" "Transition Point" setting of "Late" Plasma appearance to multiple years (as noted above), the PubMed results typically spanning multiple years can be visualized across a long span of time on the Arc.   - Click the item ("Arc" display) directly on the main screen of KRON to enable the Detail Pop-Up (this new "touch screen" feature is new in this KRON 3.0.1 version release). - Click the "Visit Website" link in the KRON Detail Pop-Up of each PubMed article to access the abstract, and the article content when made available by the publisher.
