I refuse to be embarrassed for liking this

Ugh okay I’m actually having a great time. I don’t typically like the swipe/match style of game, but the incentive of makeover/interior design is too great. I’ve seen complaints about the cards, and I complained about them too until I understood what they were for (you get rewards if you complete a collection), and the little stories are silly and fun. I think the main issue is that you can’t skip them if you’re in a rush. I actually enjoy the little ‘drama’ section, they make me understand why people enjoy soap operas. There should probably be more options for textured hair (afro/locs/braids/etc) or curly/wavy hair in general bc I can only recall 1 curly hair option so far (tho I’m only halfway through season 2). I think maybe there should also be better fitting options for ‘alt’ clients (like the goth girl-I noticed that her stuff got turned pretty modern). My previous statement is a little gripe-y, because I do think that overall they do a great job of giving options that suit the clients personalities. I like that there’s an equal balance of men and women clients, men often get left out of makeover games, and it really feels like the outfits and homes were given equal care when designed.

Favorite game of all time.

I played several Story games, then I played Plants vs Zombies 1 and 2, and I enjoyed them, but I am completely blown away by this never ending extremely addictive game. You play Match 3 for rewards, and I am past level 7,000, not counting the exclusive levels in between, of which there are 100s. I have wonderful conversations with my clique, we exchange cards, tonight we had an ugly sweater party, and you can join a clique, or form your own, it’s optional. There are a variety of contests and challenges, at least 3 or 4 at a time, there is the basic makeover, and then the limited time makeover. I have been playing for 3 or 4 years, and I own 15 properties that I can decorate to my heart’s content, and I have a huge wardrobe as well, I am always shopping, and there is always new stuff to buy and consider. If you like fashion, shopping, and decorating, this game is for you. My neighbor is also playing, and she is on level 1777 without paying a dime, she started about a year ago. I pay for the special trips, which are optional, because that is supporting the wonderful and talented developers, and because I get goodies I wouldn’t get otherwise. They also are very generous with the goodies. I have tried to add a second game but they always bore me after a few days. I hope to play this forever. I spend hours a day on it.

Addictive game, although some cons.

This is a fabulous free, add-free game. The concept is entertaining and it’s certainly one of those addictive games that you want to keep playing. I don’t think it’s fair for people to fault the fact it’s a match 3 game, because if that type of mobile game isn’t your vibe, just download something else. I will say though, as the match games get more difficult, it’s hard to keep playing without spending money to pass the match games. Sometimes you’ll be on the same level over and over in order to continue onto the makeovers. It seems there’s more time spent on the match game than the actual makeover. I feel it could be improved by making the makeover choices cheaper to reduce the amount of time spent trying to gather coins from the match games. I also think it would be good to add a feature where a certain amount of ads can be watched to gather boosters to help with the level if it’s particularly hard, so you’re not spending money. I understand since it’s a free game and they don’t have ads, they make the majority of their money from people purchasing things like gems and boosters, but if the choice of ads could be limited, they could still make money from others wanting to spend their money. Overall, if you’ve got spare money to spend on some of the features, this could be a really good game for you. Keep in mind the cost of features is relatively low, but it does add up quickly.

Brilliant Game

i have been playing think game for a few months and had reached season 4 without making a purchase. I did however watch adverts to help me through the game, they were optional adverts. I think the game is great, however I couldn’t give 5 stars because recently, I gave in and made an in app purchase for the first time of £2.99. The problem is that since that purchase I have completely lost the option to watch adverts for extra lives and extra moves. It is as if I am expected to pay again, which I am not going to do because I can’t afford it. This has slowed down my game progression and instead of being relaxed whilst playing the game I am becoming more tense. Please fix this because I want to continue enjoying the game. I have read a lot about this happening to other people too. If you fix this, your customers will be happier and more likely to play and enjoy the game, whilst we are watching your adverts and making you money at the same time 🙂

Annoying

The latest update has not been a positive one for me. I have always been able to rely on the power ups to go where they need to go in order to be useful in the gameplay. But the lasted update has produced power ups that go to the least useful place, which means I am now not enjoying the game and am getting frustrated at how long it takes me to do each level. It is too difficult to bank scissors and sprays etc to make them useful or reliable, which means I have been relying on the power ups from streaks to be able to do more than one level in the time I am playing. This is no longer the case. Because it is taking more lives and a longer time to go through each level I am not able to finish timed clients or the new element of the island rush. I am up to level 5312 and the leader of my clique. Please readjust the algorithms for how power ups are useful during gameplay.

Challenging and fun, plus really nice graphics

This is a really fun puzzle game. The puzzles are challenging but not so difficult that it takes the fun out. The sound effects keep me engaged and the music is good too. What makes the game really fun and addictive compared to many other games out there is that there’s a reason to complete the puzzles. When you complete puzzles, you earn coins that are used to give each character a makeover and can also be used to update your own avatar and their home furnishings. You can also save up and buy vacation homes in various places. I love that I also get to design rooms for the characters, and the finished product always looks really nice. The graphics are fantastic as they are crisp, colorful, and detailed. Plus, there are NO ADS!!! It is possible to complete the levels without ever spending anything, but some are challenging and I will sometimes pay for gems to help out. But I never feel like I have to, like in some other games. Plus, once you get to a certain difficulty level, the levels don’t just keep getting more impossible. It skips around so some levels are easier and some are harder, which really ups the enjoyment of the game. There’s nothing more discouraging than un-winnable games, but this never has me feeling that way. Solving the puzzles requires strategy, thoughtfulness, and a bit of luck ;)

Wow

I’ve been playing this game for quite some years now I’m almost at level 800, even playing candy crush in the past I never stuck out to that level before, I love how the unlimited lives for a certain amount of time it gives you and all the boosters and bombs makes the game easier and you can fly through most of the levels however I can be stuck on one level for days and even weeks but eventually I get passed it and then I’ll be flying through them life nothing, absolutely love this game, fills in my spare time and gives me something to do when I’m having me time, totally recommend this game but it takes a lot of paitence and work so stick to it and you’ll fly through it, trust me you’ll fall in love even if you don’t play it for a long time you’ll get boosters and things when you come back to it, can never get bored of this game and I promise you that

Glitchy

The game has become really glitchy slowing down while playing or freezing mid game play for a few seconds which is a real shame. Never had these problems before only in last few weeks. Also some of your ads are glitching not showing the x to close after watching which is really annoying. Hope these problems can be fixed. Will persevere for a few more weeks then will find another game . Thanks

False Advertising!

I downloaded this game a couple of years ago to prove a point that the ads you put out are just ridiculous.

The game itself? It’s actually good, I like that you get to give them a makeover & do up their house by playing the mini game to get coins. It could do with some tweaks like I don’t understand this Greta woman she just says nasty things but that’s it like it’s puzzling. Get rid I say she does nothing to the game.

Also when you go into the game there’s all these like events all at once it can be a bit overwhelming! Like the horse racing thing & the juice bar one it just doesn’t feel exciting when you throw it all at us at once - space it out a bit! Make us look forward to it. Then we won’t feel bombarded when we get on the game because it’s off putting.

Work on your advertising, it’s false, sexist & downgrading to women & that’s why you struggle to get people playing it. You put out these women looking ugly trying to get a man’s attention & it doesn’t even make sense as it goes on. It’s 2024 a LOT of women want makeovers & stuff to feel good about themselves not to show off to men.

You really need to work on the advertising bit I think if you do that, make some improvements in the game to make it look less over the top, do a better storyline make us actually give the makeovers instead of it automatically doing it it would be quite a good game.

Don’t download this is a big scam

This is a pay to play game despite being free to download because there are so many in app purchases. The app keep encouraging you to buy their stuff and makes it look super worth it so a kid who accidentally downloaded it could get scammed a lot. For example my little sister downloaded this app and accidentally bought 1000 freaking dollars of stuff so my mum called them for money back because it was obviously a kid spending but they said oh well you already bought it no refund for you. So rude! Plus you have to earn gems for everything and at one point when you run out of moves you must buy at least 500 gems to continue playing, otherwise you will just be stuck there until you beat the level. My point is that this is a unsafe app and btw the gameplay is super cringe so this is ur face when playing it:😫
