This version brings the support of Yubikeys. The apps like Google Authenticator can be used as well. Additionally, we improved the other aspects of authentication. Now you have the control over which devices are connected to your account and can revoke access in one click. In case you lost access to the second factor you can use backup codes. Don't forget to add them after setting up the second factor.
Many other misc. improvements were done as well.

The new version has several great improvements.
The most important change of the new version is a deeply refactored file encryption model. The new model allows you to share files with other users or outside contacts without spending the disk space of your account.
The Bussiness Pro plan users will have the ability to share files with teammates. Whether you share a file with or without encryption. Just choose the recipient from the list and they will see the file in special storage.
Last but not least feature is integration with the Mastodon social network. Within the Files app you can share the links directly to the users of https://privatemail.social
