THANK YOU

Thinky is the literal best. I have been expressing my thoughts, feelings, events and even dreams! It is amazing having an easy to view collection of these- especially when I’m anxious. Moreover, the display of the whole month, with the emotions, really showed me how most days are (very) positive whilst a minority are (very) negative. It shows me that this journey is not linear. My life is puzzle for me to collect and display every day. 🫂

I wanted to love it…

The 2 reviews 2 years ago reeled me in. It is a pretty good app for the concept. The only issue is the entries limit you to 250 characters - sorry, but I have A LOT more than that to say about how I’m feeling and/or my day, so I had to let it go.

I will point out, it is the only journaling app I have found thus far that has allowed for landscape orientation. Using a keyboard with my iPad, this was very helpful!

Pretty great - could use some QOL changes

I’ve been using Thinky for over 2 years now and while I love it. There’s a couple of bugs that would improve the app tremendously.

Every time I try to navigate to a date where I did an entry, it almost always crashes or doesn’t load. In addition, I’d love to be able to download a copy of all my entries or something!

It’s been great having the app to track how my mood has been through the years (:

Lovely app - just one problem

I love the look and feel of this app and how quick and simple it is to use. One major flaw though, which stopped it getting 5 stars -the word limit. I don’t want to have to cut a thought short; that defeats thepoint of writing it down. Two features I’d like to see: 1. the ability to export entries or the whole journal 2. the ability to tag entries so I can bring up a search list on related ones (eg on a particular topic or mood)

It’s perfect and teaches me to talk less!

I found this online. I looked for free apps. This one came up. It has limited words- which helps and makes me want to be committed. Sent it to friends and got some very praiseworthy thankful feedback.

Hey Elle - thank you very much for your positive review! Really glad you like the app. If you have any feedback/feature requests feel free to reach out to us via the in-app feedback section in the settings :)

Best app I’ve downloaded

I really really recommend this app if you just want a place to note down your thoughts and feelings. You can also create memories by adding photos. This app also locks your journal so you don’t need to worry about people trying to get in. This app has helped me more than expected.

So far so good!

This is the first time I’ve ever wrote about stuff in an App like this and so far so good! Have always wanted to keep track of daily events and going ons as such, but not I. a diary or journal type of way. I came across this App by just browsing and entering something so random about my feelings that day in the search engine in AppStore and viola! We are 3 days in and I am actually enjoying it and will keep on track. And that’s why I didn’t give it a full 5stars because I can’t find a way to write in a day that I have missed? Or is it just me?

Hey, thank so much for your review! If you want to add posts for days you've missed, we've got you covered :) just start creating a new post, and then tap on the little clock/arrow icon next to the camera icon in the bottom right of the screen. That will let you select any date in the past so that you can add any days you've missed. PS it will also continue your streak for those days. Hope this helps!

A perfect app!

This app is honestly perfect, it’s easy to use and has proven very helpful for me. The yearly view is a great idea and the line diagram is an amazing way to view your recent moods as well as it being a subtle motivation to keep your mood up as much as possible.

The last review I wrote for this app was a while back, and I gave it 4 stars because it was missing one key feature which was reminders. But now they have been added, as well as improved backdating on journal entries.

I couldn’t recommend this app enough. I’ve given a small tip and plan giving more when I can, and hope some of you guys do the same soo we can support this creator!

Hey Kizza4599! Thanks for your review, it means a lot! We're adding a notification settings screen in the next update to the app, so hopefully that will solve the problem you are having with the reminders. If you have any ideas or feedback, feel free to send us a note using the in-app feedback form :) thanks again!

I love this app

I think this app is amazing! I’m so happy with it, i would highly recommend to anyone looking for a space to note thoughts/feelings or anything really down! I like the fact you can enable a passcode also for extra privacy. Really impressed.

Thanks so much for the review! ❤️

No shady subscription model

Not only is the app brilliant in that it is simple and visually pretty but it also allows you to track your moods.

I never bother with writing reviews but this time I honestly can’t stress enough that it is a joy to be able to find a service that’s not subscription based.

(More than happy to pay a one time fee though 😉 )

Hey NocturnalDoom, thanks so much for taking the time to write your review, it makes a huge difference and keeps us motivated! If you still enjoy the app and find it valuable, you can find an option to leave a small tip for the developer in the latest update, but it's completely optional :)
