How good is this? I’m a proud Australian, growing up in a largely Caucasian community, shamefully, we were not taught much about indigenous culture at all. Boomerangs and didgeridoos, the rainbow serpent... that’s about it. Appalling of the education curriculum in the 80’s!
Raising a child myself now, I am so thrilled that there is finally some recognition, acknowledgement, education and visibility of and for indigenous peoples.
Our ancestors were wrong, but we can learn to integrate and learn the ancient wisdom and ways of the indigenous people.
There is a long way to go, but we can all learn and change our society for the future generations.
This app has been created with respect, inclusion and very thoughtful planning. Well done, all Australians should know about indigenous languages, imagery and culture.

Can we make it keyboard friendly for all social media’s? I’m sure we’d all want to be able to use it like normal emojis.

Fantastic app - Keeping it real
Great way for all Australians to learn the traditional central Australian language. We need to start using these words in our everyday vocabulary to keep this proud culture alive. Great idea and big thanks to all involved in the development. Love to see more for other traditional languages from all regions in Australia.
