Unusable
The app connects to the camera, and there ends its usefulness. Only once have I gotten a video to start playing before the app stopped loading or the camera restarted. I have about 30 seconds from connecting to locate a video before the camera disconnects. I have never been able to download a video to circumvent the shutdown either.TX Slowbie
Could be better
I am currently using the dash cam. I have found out that depending on the video quality you chose. The video will not play at all on the app. I keep getting the message saying that the video is still processing. So the only way I can view footage is with a computer. It is nice using the app to change settings if you need to it’s more convenient. I also have not updated the firmware on my camera that could be causing some of the problems I am having.night rider 208

This app lets you view your recorded videos and change dashcam settings which is super convenient.
It’s important to note that you can only use the app while in wifi mode (your phone is connected to the camera via wifi). Depending on how smart your phone is, you won't be connected to the internet during that time.
My only complaint which isn’t really reasonable because there’s only so much you can do within the limitations of the technology is that you can’t watch recorded videos without downloading them first, and downloading one of the 400mb files on my new iPhone 11 took longer than 10 minutes (per file). If you urgently need to look at footage and don’t want to sit in your car for hours at a time, I’d still stick with a computer and a USB3 card reader.TagCdog
