So far mostly good

I really like the simplicity of it, but for being a “judgement free zone” I really don’t like the red every where. I am a beer drinker only and even though I’m 4 drinks under my 10 drink a week limit, logging my 4th beer turns the counter red. Which having 4 beers on a Saturday night I don’t think is that bad, especially when I’ve had two beers the rest of the week. Plus in your rolling average it’s also red. This app is supposed to help control consumption, which I think it it does, and does well, I just don’t like the red everywhere on stats just because we have drinks. The people that are going to use this app, drink, so don’t make us feel bad for logging the drinks.

Helpful app but...

I had recently started tracking my drinking in habit apps and realized I was drinking more than I thought. None of the apps I had tried were really well suited for this kind of thing though (they’re more for things like exercising more) so I’m glad I found this app. The only thing that frustrates me about it is that I can’t input the data I had tracked for the last couple of months. There’s a calendar view, but you can’t edit from it which seems like an oversight. In the last update they also changed the week to start on Sunday which I’m not a fan of, I wish they had made it a setting instead. Other than that though the app is great. It’s definitely been enlightening for me to see how much I was really drinking and caused me to cut back. I’m sure it will help a lot of other people too.

Finally

An app to help moderate and track drinking that doesn’t resort to abstinence or long/short non-drinking challenges.
The design is great and encourages me to ‘check myself’ and be better informed so I can change my habits.

Simple and lovely

Been trying to cut back my drinking this year and I love how easy this app is! No searching for drink titles etc... The calendar view is lovely and makes it easy to see the red days :-/ I’m trying to reduce that and stay in the blues and greens :) it definitely makes me more aware and mindful of my drinking trends...

So excited to see new features - any preview for what’s on the roadmap?

Less will help you be drink-aware

I’m restricting alcohol for health reasons and having a place to record consumption and to see past performance is just what I need.

The app is simple enough for anyone to use. You need to be aware what a drink is so look up units of alcohol in the tipples you enjoy.

Make sure to record drinks. Don’t lie to yourself. Build in drink free days. Not drinking Monday to Thursday is a good way to achieve this.

Good concept, with early bugs

I really like the concept of the app. Nice to have a historical way of tracking my intake.

But with any new app, bugs/feature requests to be expected. Two things.

1. I literally just lost all of my drink logs over the past week yesterday (had to re-enter them by memory). Database issues?

2. FR: Wish there was a way to set a push notification at a specified time of the day (eg bedtime) asking me to log how many drinks I had. It’s too burdensome to remember to pull the app out. Sure I could use an Apple reminder but I prefer the integration.

Other than that, great concept and hopefully room for improvements.

Just a tracking app - no reminders or other functionality

Great idea, in theory. What gets measured gets fixed.

BUT,

- the app doesn’t send reminders (Fitness Pal still mags me twice a day, although I haven’t used in two months)

- doesn’t seem to interact with Apple Watch, which would seem obvious - it’s always on my wrist, so very easy and discrete way to log

The last bit is a personal feel: to drink (legally anyway) and to worry about it, we will all be over a certain age - I don’t think your typical user profile will be an under 20 old. The plain sailing pic is way too reminiscent of my kids’ picture books (but as I said, that’s a personal fell).

Best & Only Real Option of its Kind

I’ve tried several different apps. Habit trackers, creating custom templates in journaling apps etc. Nothing is specifically heard towards curbing your alcohol, until I found this app. It’s great! I look forward to future updates— the recent addition of the calendar view makes me think they have a good idea of what should be improved.

A Little Bit Of a Nag

I got this primarily to track my alcohol usage. I have not ever been a problem drinker. Some of my bottles of liquor have been sipped a drink or two a year. Wine at dinner is regular two or three times a week. This little app tends to be on the don't drink side of the equation. It congratulates for going a certain number of days using alcoholic control language. Does what it is supposed to do. But maybe not what I want.

Simple, yet effective.

This is a wonderfully simple, but useful app to help me become more accountable for my drinking. There’s some good advice to help steer you in the right direction and it easy to log drinks and keep track of how much alcohol you’ve consumed over an extended period of time. The animations are a nice touch too! Thank you!
