First of all, I was excited to download the app be the hair AND the makeup. But it turns out the MAKEUP was a in-app purchase! Maybe just add some shades of eyeshadow and some colors of lip sticks? And some blush. In the in-app purchase you can add some glittery shades of eyeshadow and tattoos. Also foundation is good too!(But it’s optional) You should really add more choices of clothing. Because sometimes my clothes don’t match the the haircut. You should add your customer’s feedback of how good the haircut was. Also, more choices of customers. There are very few choices of them. Now last suggestion. A spa! Now this is EXTREMELY optional, but please add a spa with a face mask, cucumbers for the eyes and some cream to heal the red stuff (I forgot what it’s called) Now, that’s it! I’d give it 5 stars if you at least add the makeup and the customer feedback.

🤬😡 I only gave this game 5 stars so people would see it! Seriously DO NOT GET THIS GAME! It says that you would be able to use make up but it is all money!! To a hair salon 4 is just like to a hair salon 3! I wouldn’t waste your money on the makeup either! I was hoping there would at least be a little makeup but there’s not!!! to a vocal if you want people to enjoy this game give a little free makeup! It’s so frustrating that all the cool stuff is money! This game has almost no difference from toca hair salon 3! If anyone is buying the game because they think the makeup is cool DONT! Dear Toca, The new update is great! Just one suggestion. Make a free trial on makeup. Five days to a week at LEAST. This game has so much potential and with a free trial you will get better reviews and much more downloads. And I have the makeup so please please please add more colors as their is no neutralizer for the lighter skinned characters. In addition, the control on the hair is a little hard. you can’t part things the way you want to, so controlling the hair is hard. I love playing the game it’s a great time killer. Some hairstyles for me take between 20 minutes to an hour. Anyways on to the glitches, there’s a lot of them. When you brush the hair sometimes it just keeps going up for some reason. Also, one time after I finished a style, I went back and the picture showed the hair all over the place. Of course I clicked back to see what happened and the hair was now ruined. Another one happened when I was dyeing the hair black or something, but some random bright colored hair started showing up out of nowhere. At the moment I can’t think of anymore. I hope they fix some of these glitches soon. ps. Apologies if my grammar is a bit bad and if I didn’t explain some of the bugs very well💗🥲🤚🏻
Hi there! This game is great I just have some problems suggestions and some ideas for improvement.
First of all, I think you should add game money to the game because some players want to buy the clothing and accessories packs, but can’t afford it so maybe after a player is finished with a round, they can get coins as a reward.
I also think players could make a character to look like them, for example they can pick eye color, head shape, and skin color.
Maybe there could be a mode to compete with a friend and at the end the game votes to see who the best looking character is.
The problem: I do think that when a player is working on a character it can be annoying or frustrating when the character moves, which can lead to messing up I think that instead of the character moving on his/her own, the player could move the character’s head and body to make it easier all around.
Sorry about this long review, I truly think this game is amazingly fun just how it is but think about some of my suggestions that could improve the game. Thank you bye!
So I’m a kid and I really love playing toca boca games. I wish they didn’t cost a lot of money though. Which brings me to one of my problems with this app. It costs money for the makeup station. It doesn’t mention that anywhere which made me disappointed. I really would love to do their makeup but my parents aren’t going to let me spend money on a game that once I delete it, the pack is gone. I really wish it didn’t cost money just to do makeup in a game. Also there’s not many choices for clothing, there all the same each time. Then, it’s hard to pick up items or do something with the longer end of the hair because the items are blocking it off. I also think there should be a redo button to make it easier if you make a mistake instead of having to start all over. Overall it’s a good game, so I give it 4 stars. There is still much things I want to see improved though.
Hi! I recently downloaded this game and I’m loving it! It’s soooo fun! There’s so many options - from beards and mustaches to clothes and makeup! Although, about the makeup... I honestly think you should make it so you don’t have to pay for it, like with the shirts and everything, where you have some stuff but not all of it. I also find it really annoying that the shower washes off the makeup, because if you don’t have the makeup bought, then you can’t put it back on your character. So if one of those things was changed I would give it 5 stars, 100%. Otherwise, this is an amazing - and I mean AMAZING - game that I love. Thanks to whoever takes the time to read this! ❤️
I am addicted to this game for reasons I cannot fully understand. Apart from the adorable character, outfit, and accessory designs, I think it’s just appealing to my inner child who used to play make up and dress up games on sketchy, pop-up ad infested websites. Absolutely adore the upgrades from the previous salon games in the same title.
I am encountering a bug where the hair tool used to thicken and create a more kinky-hair/Afro look is glitching out when I return to the client page. Sometimes I try to save the look but it doesn’t save how I left it, often showing the character with no hair in certain areas. I’ve only really encountered this issue on the black woman with the blue lipstick. Not sure what to do about that.
I also will echo some other reviews and say it’s difficult to manage longer hair—styling it or coloring it at the ends.
All in all though, I love this game and will play it everyday. It’s relaxing and fun during my breaks at work or from class. Haven’t purchased all the packs yet but I will get there eventually.
Toca Hair Salon 4 is a great game for children to truly be inspired to embrace their own ways of beauty! It’s an all out amazing and wonderful game and the character bases are masterpieces of their own. I love how you can save characters and even edit them later, how many hairstyles you can make, change the makeup, and even change their clothes! The photobooth was a great idea too because kids can see all the different poses, backgrounds, and change it up a little bit! However, the three downsides are that you can’t do their makeup without paying money, and I don’t see many adults willing to pay money just for digital makeup that won’t exist if you delete the app and you can’t put their hair up or even turn them around to make some sort of design in the hair also, they’re is plenty of hairstyles, but they aren’t easy to make and not many look that great in the end, but most of all I think that you should be able to do smaller or bigger sections with the hair dye. I think it would be cool to write your name or a heart or just any cool design with the dye and easily do dye it all in one spray. All out, I rate this 4.5 stars and I think they should keep exploring ways to make this app even better than it already is!
