Warning to schools
Don’t buy into this service until the app gets some attention. Reviews after review about accessibility issues, persistent notifications that won’t go. If you are buying into scholar pack hoping parents will take it up, then they won’t if the app isn’t functional.
The last update to the app was 7 months ago. None of the updates have fixed persistent issues. Take a look at the dev responses. What do they say? Nothing. That’s right, because there’s not a lot of care. I hope I saved you a bob. School budgets are tight. Kids are first, forget tickboxes to please ofsted. Thanks for being a school. New message notification bug
New message notification badge never disappears! Updating the app and restarting the phone doesn’t solve the issue. Very misleading and I sometimes miss messages from school! It’s been like that for ages and has not yet been addressed. I think it’s VITAL for this issue to be fixed asap!BabyJasmineLove
Terrible app
As others have said, it always says there’s a notification even when there isn’t. I end up missing messages all the time- so super annoying.MellyHayWall

Always showing an unread message even though I’ve read them all. Not ideal when you think the school might have contacted you and you look and see there’s nothing actually there! Please sort this it. It must only be some form of update surely.Xxxnickyxxx

Unread message notifications when there are no messages
Functional app for the most part but as many others have said, the notifications and badges do not clear after reading messages.
After manually updating to the latest version today this is still an issue.Blam21

Unread message alert won’t disappear
I received a message from my sons school, and even tho I’ve read the message and refreshed the app and restarted my phone, it’s still showing I have an unread message.
Very annoying.
I keep having to log into the app to check there isn’t another message.claire.d.22
School permissions unusable
The permissions part within the app is unusable. You cannot see the sentence and you cannot also see if a permission gags been granted or not.
It looks like the app has been made by amateurs. How safe is it?Costas Chellaston Infands
Cannot connect if using VoiceOver on your phone
In a day and age where most developers are using accessibility API to make their apps accessible to all, this didn't consider that. I am a parent who is blind and cannot connect with my school. I appreciate that this might be early stages but I cannot login due to this.
Would be appreciated if the developers could take a look into this as I am a parent who wants to connect with my school but will not be able to now.Show lesssbey1905

Thanks for your feedback. We are committed to making our app accessible and will address this in an upcoming release. Updated May 2021: The app has now been updated with full support for screen readers.
