DISASTER DO NOT USE

Downloaded this and turned on cloud sync. It immediately deleted all the changes I’ve made to my collection in the last 2 weeks. So that’s playlists and all the tracks I’ve added. I’ll now have to wait till I’m back from touring and try to load up my laptop whilst not connected to WiFi, backup my collection, go online, restore it. This app is a total disaster. It should merge these items not delete them.

Login Issues with SoundCloud Integration on iPad M

I’m having trouble connecting my SoundCloud account to Rekordbox on my iPad M2. When I try to log in, I get to the SoundCloud login page, but I can’t proceed using any of the available options (Apple, Google, or Facebook login). None of these methods work, making it impossible to use SoundCloud integration with Rekordbox. I’d appreciate if the developers could look into this issue to improve the workflow. This feature would be super helpful if it worked smoothly. Thank you!

Okay , having some issues

I really need this fixed , I’ve put money into this app and several others just to learn to dj. I’ve bought SoundCloud GO , Tidal , and neither one of them actually work through the rekordbox app for me. I spent $14 on Tidal so I can enjoy my own music because the music provided I don’t know so I can’t mix a song I don’t know , they don’t even add POPULAR songs just random songs. I really need this fixed because spending my hard earned money on something that’s not going to work is ridiculous. It won’t allow me to insert my card information through the app. It denies it everytime,

Truly Horrible system

You’d think you’d be able to plug your usb into your ipad and manage your collection easily… WRONG. You’ve got to get a subscription, painstakingly go through your (WHOLE DOWNLOADED LIBRARY) music using the unintuitive interface. You’d think you could just download the songs you’d want to edit as they are on the cloud but nope. You’d think you could just edit the usb files but nope. You’d think this would be a much better way of adding hot cues and markers NOOOPE. Really wth are they doing at Pioneer these days? I’m sure it’s a bunch of narcoleptic nose pickers that giggle stupidly at their monitors.

No external usb possible

I mean for real. We are not capable of using external usb to load your playlist. What is even the point ?

Just terrible

It’s so disappointing that there’s such a severe lack of UX/UI processes within this company. You charge a premium for your hardware and then this is the app you push out. Unbelievable.

latest version seems to work fine

I was worried about updating to the latest because of the reviews. I made an iCloud backup so I can hopefully roll my whole phone back in the worst case, but I haven’t had any issues so far.

I tried Djay Pro for a few hours, and while it’s cool, it just doesn’t have the same organizational capabilities that this app has. Honestly this app is great and it just needs more polish. I don’t really use the streaming services because I haven’t found a good way to replace them later. I always have something to complain about, and right now I guess it’s just that when I import files I wish they were in order, or at least the same order as my computer. I could import in smaller batches. Other gripe is that there’s no “shuffle” as far as I know, but I re-assign a random genre decimal number occasionally (rekordbox-playlist-extractor on github).

Anyways, I think I do recommend updating to the latest version after backing up your phone (to get rid of the annoying update prompt every time).

Could be amazing

Needs a recording feature! I much prefer the iOS app to the desktop version for quick and easy DJing on the fly. But it desperately needs a feature to record your live mixing as a WAV file. Screen recording takes up too much space and audio quality is low.

So bad I have been forced to use DJay Pro

I required a dj program for iOS. I naturally assumed Rekordbox would had been the go to app. I could not be more wrong. I hope the developer for this app check out Djay Pro and learn how to make an app. I have faith they’ll get on top of this but it has a long way to go. Until then, there’s zero reason to use this app when far superior dj apps already exist.
