Useless
Just like on ltp website, arrival times don’t reflect actual arrival times. For multiple times, it jumps from 10min to 4min or from 5min to DUE and then I have to wait for 10min / 5min for the actual bus to come when it is below 0C degrees outside.
Real-Time Map completely stopped working a month ago for absolutely no reason. It stills gives me a blank white page. Without it, I can’t simultaneously view multiple bus routes anymore (unless they share the exact same stop, but that’s not the case at Pierpont). Don’t even talk about Commuter South (which stopped at different stops randomly & just disappeared spontaneously like a ghost during the 3-month detour period in Fall 2024, but I unfortunately had to take it at 7:00 early & cold every Wednesday morning).
Ridiculously awful overall. Why not just use the browser (which is same awful).

Confusing Bus system
Can’t believe that UM Bus real time information is not shared with Google Map. We have to use this App to plan our trip if we want to take UM bus, which is not friendly to use. I waited for an extra 30 minutes for the bus, which totally missed my class.
App constantly crashes
App doesn’t seem to know what time it is - suggests taking buses that already left in Trip Planner. Constantly crashes.
Miserably bad
… to the point that I wonder if there was any thought put into user interface or experience whatsoever. Doesn’t even open for me any more, the loading screen just spins.
Worst excuse for an app I have ever used
Nothing works. No one answers the phone.
I have to delete and reinstall this app every single day because all I get is a blue screen with nothing on it. Oh excuse me, sometimes it’s a white screen. With nothing on it!

It's been years and this is still the worst-designed app I think I've ever had the displeasure of using. Really makes you wonder where the tuition dollars are going. Get some freshmen together and they'll do a better job.
Doesn’t Work At All
This app is quite literally not functional. If you try to open it you encounter a server error. The only thing it does is take up space on your phone. Michigan. Please. I am so tired please fix this.
Pathetic
I don’t think there is an app available that is more pathetic and more trash than this one in the entire App Store. Welcome to the University of Michigan where we create absolute trash apps for students to use. We have an amazing bus system and yet we fail to have an app that can make our lives easier to show the routes and live location of these buses. Congratulations we have trash developers.

I miss DoubleMap
Magic bus is a mess to be honest.
One of the many things I don’t like about it is how i can’t view multiple routes. If I’m looking at a bus route and it gives me six minutes to walk to bus route that I can’t make it too, then the app becomes ultimately useless for me.
They should include a drop down menu of the other extra few times the bus will be coming within the next hour.
In addition it’s both slower and glitchy. For some reason it feels like we’re using a desktop interface on a mobile phone.

I miss DoubleMap
I’ve switched to basically guessing when the buses will show up and it’s honestly more reliable than this app. If their goal was for me to not rely on my phone as much then they have succeeded. Please make it better or just start from scratch.
