Calendar syncing

Mshungryhippo! Sorry that you had a less than awesome experience with syncing your calendar to Eggy. You're right though. At the moment, the calendar sync brings in all your sub-calendars from your synced calendar. This is because when we first released the calendar sync, we had users asking for all their calendars to be brought in. Can't win 'em all hey?! ;) We've got it on our roadmaps to make this a better experience where you'll hopefully be able to select either option - just to sync the primary calendar or sync the primary calendar and the sub-calendars. Like lots of things at Eggy (including us!) it's a work-in-progress. I hope you at least get enough value out of Eggy without using the calendar sync feature until we get the souped-up version with the calendar sync options out. Then when I tried to put something in fortnightly it added to the calendar daily.
It’s so user friendly so I know I’m not making errors! I want to be able to give a good review and the idea is brilliant it just has a few errors I think?

And we want you to love this app too "Want to like!"!!! We know what you mean about that April bug. We had a bunch of our awesome users send us emails and messages to tell us that this was happening so we got onto fixing it straight away. Now that that's all done and dusted, we're moving onto some of the bigger features and other improvements that our Eggy Legends have asked us to build. In regards to that fortnightly/daily repeat issue that you've experienced, we've done some internal testing and we can't seem to replicate it but if you can send us an email (info@eggy.as) with some more info, as well as a screenshot, that'd help us get a better idea of what might be happening. Finally, we're so glad that you think Eggy is user-friendly! We've tried really (like really) hard to make it easy to use, because we know ourselves that life and tech products can be overly complicated and frustrating at times. Thanks for giving Eggy a crack! Well thank you for saying so LDOTThomas! We're only a small team but we really try our best to get back to every single email, message and comment that we get, as quickly as possible. Even if it means staying up late or working on the weekends to make sure our users are being heard - because Eggy is nothing without its community of Eggy Legends! We've spent a heap of time trying to make Eggy easy to use (which is actually really hard) so it's super encouraging to hear that you think so too.
