What's New in Version 2.1 We are excited to announce the release of version 2.1 of Bushfires in Queensland. We've listened to your feedback and added a new feature that aims to enhance your experience and the app's functionality. Coordinate Copy Function: We understand that our users might need to use the coordinates elsewhere or share them with others. Therefore, we've updated the share functionality so if you select a fire and then press share, and then copy. It will now copy only the coordinates to make it easier to share just the coordinates. Always remember to keep your app updated to enjoy the latest features and improvements. Introducing Version 2.0.1 We are thrilled to announce the launch of Version 2.0.1, now offering an innovative offline feature and a refreshing update to our iconography for a more intuitive user experience. In previous versions, while you could access fire information within the app while connected to a network, you were left in the dark when your travels took you off the grid. The vital fire information you needed would simply vanish without a cellular connection, leaving you unaware of the current conditions. In Version 2.0.1, we've implemented a game-changing solution. The app now has the ability to store the latest fetched information locally, ensuring that it remains readily available to you, even when you find yourself without a network connection. Furthermore, we've updated the information icon from the traditional 'I' to a fiery flame image, better reflecting the nature of the data at your fingertips. This means you'll always have access to the most recent data available, keeping you informed of the potential dangers around you. We are confident that these new features will significantly enhance your safety and understanding while venturing into the wild. Version 1.9 This feature improves the navigation to fires and introduces a new feature. If you have paid for the app, you now can share a fire location! Just click on a fire and on the left side there will be a share button! So if you spot a fire close to someone you know, let them know of the danger!

Version 1.5 This version shows an alert that reminds you to think about your bushfire survival plan, and has a link to QFES site where you can create one. It is only shown once, after that it can be found under the expanded buttons. This is important! Please think this through, so that if you need to act, you have a plan! Another improvement is that the updated view in the top now disappears after 10 seconds. If you click refresh, it will come back for 10 seconds. This is to maximize the map view so that you can see what is going on.  This version also keeps the app up to date with the latest changes from QFES. This version is the result of feedback from the users so a big thanks for all the feedback on the app!
