Introducing Version 2.0.1 We are thrilled to announce the launch of Version 2.0.1, now offering an innovative offline feature and a refreshing update to our iconography for a more intuitive user experience. I was hoping to get a map app that has the Australian Fires since my brother lives Down there. Well I downloaded when I clicked on it I am brought to Deerfield, New Hampshire, USA. I even tried to search Proston, Queensland, Australian. It took me back to New Hampshire, USA.

    Developer Response

Ok, first thought about the one star. PAIN! To make things even more painful, if I enter the search string you wrote in the review, it works for me… So how can this happen? I’m going to guess that it’s because of problems with the UI. A bug is that nothing happens if you press the return key. You HAVE to press the magnifying glass. This will be fixed in version 1.3. But furthermore, you raise a much valid point about how the app behaves when you don’t live in Australia. You have to scroll or search EVERY TIME which is a pain. I actually created this app for my brother who also lives in Australia, QLD. So, in version 1.3 there will be an option to always launch the app at a search location instead of just you own location. Finally, the search is pretty bad. To just enter a search query and hope for the best, that’s no good. So, for version 1.3 there will be search completion. So, if you enter “Br”, then it will show a list with for instance Brisbane. So, on second thought thank you so much for you feedback!!! I’m working on version 1.3 now and I hope it will be out soon. I hope you get a chance to try it when its done! Thanks again!
