  • Greedy company ruins a childhood classic

I used to love this game as a kid and would play it almost every day trying to catch every fish. Recently, I redownloaded it for nostalgic reasons to try and play through it again only to find out you need to pay a monthly subscription to play this game aside from the free 10 minutes it gives you. How wildly deceiving that a free game on the App Store secretly requires more money than most games you would find. I love the game so much that I would consider paying for the subscription, but the sheer idea of my money going to the greedy people who made the subscription in the first place disgusts me. I will simply reminisce on the good times in which this game was enjoyable and worth playing.
  • $5 A MONTH?!

Bro, come on. That’s an actually crazy price for a revamped game. This has been an ongoing issue for like 2 years but just change the fee to an initial one instead of a subscription based one because $5 a month is low key a scam. I like many others came for the nostalgia and got blocked by a ten minute trial. Just please fix this. You probably won’t but god ts is awful.
  • Wow

The game was amazing when I was younger but now it’s turned into a cash grab $5 a month and also if you have had the game you have to provide that you had the game years ago how would I do that this game went down hill it’s sad this game was part of my childhood I remember you could get the game and just sit there and fish without a care in the world
  • Paid full price for the app, now they want a subscription

Great game, had it for years, now they bundled it with other games and want a monthly subscription.

Twice I sent proof of purchase to support, searching for a resolution. No response.

    Very disappointed.
  • All most as good as the original

It’s a fun game that I played a lot when I was younger and much like a lot of other reviewers feel very nostalgic for. There is a small bug where you have an issue casting sometimes but closing and reopening the app fixes it. The reason for the one star review is because of the subscription. I would happily pay five dollars to buy this game but five dollars a month is too much. I get that the subscription is across multiple apps but I don’t have or want those other apps. I just want a game I can play on my lunch break that I don’t have to keep paying for. If the devs gave an option for a cheap subscription or the option to buy it outright I’d keep playing but for now I’m deleting it.
  • Wish I could have the old game back…

The old game was my absolute favorite as a kid. This makes me sad that I gotta pay $5 a month now to play the game I loved when I was younger, and the older version was better than this one ☹️
  • Trash

Regret downloading. Have to make this game non subscription please. No point in having it in the App Store anymore if this continues
  • Used to love this game

It’s truly a shame, one of my favorite childhood games has now become an unenjoyable catastrophe. Why must I pay for a subscription now? I only get 10 minutes of free gameplay? These companies are just greedy and frankly I will not support this game any longer. I will not pay for your subscription.
  • Wow… Old version was WAY better.

You have to pay monthly to play the game which really stinks. The old version was better than this one, where you don't need to pay in. I am so disappointed.
  • It isn’t what it used to be.

This game really isn’t half of what it used to be, the fact that the fish don’t fight back really takes away from the emersion, and half of the time when I used the flick option for casting, the thing wouldn’t work. On top of all of that, you can’t even play the game without paying $4.99 a month, which is absurd. If it was $4.99 for a one time purchase I wouldn’t mind, but a monthly charge is just too much for a game that is lacking from its past excellence. I wouldn’t recommend this game as it is now.
